You will discover the forest and nature at the "Serras do Porto" park. Leave the noise and stress of the city behind and enter in a natural park where you can hike in the mountains, just beside river, cross suspended bridges and visit ancient villages inhabited by only 5 people.
In this perfect bucolic landscapes we will stop for a picnic with traditional products, cheese, fruit, and beverage, including local wine if desired.
During the walk it's usual to see the shepherd and his sheep.
Feel embraced by the nature, this peaceful place where you only hear the relaxing sound of the river and the birds!
Don't forget to bring your camera as you will take amazing photos.

Ricardo and his dog were great. Beautiful scenery and tiny mountain villages. We saw villager tending goats and beautiful streams. Made for nice conversation with the other travelers.

This trip is so good! I booked this wanting to get out the city and see a bit more nature! The scenery is amazing (pictures don't do justice how lovely it is) and I feel like this was just the right amount to be hiking/walking, it's not too difficult, and you get to see some amazing scenery! Would really recommend this!

Great morning out seeing nature just outside Porto. Ricardo was super friendly and knowledgeable, and his dog was adorable! The scenery is lovely and we kept to a pace that ensured the whole group kept up. We even saw an otter!

Even in the rain, the hike was a fun way to get away from the city, connect with beautiful nature and meet great people, including Ricardo, our guide. Of course his dog Shy made the experience for our 8-year old dog lover. Our family really enjoyed!

Roberto is one of the friendliest guides we had in Portugal. We had a beautiful hike outside of Porto - quick train ride away. Peaceful with picturesque rapids/views. Highly recommend for any hiking enthusiasts coming to Porto.

Amazing experience. Such a fun guide, he was so knowledgeable and passionate about his hike. The picnic lunch was delicious and homemade. The dog was great to have with us and anything but “Shy”.
