Enjoy a wonderful day trip to Portillo and Inca Lagoon from Santiago.
Starting from the Intermediate Depression of our country , which is crowned by the majesty of the Andes

If I could give this tour 10 stars, I would! Portillo Lagoon is a unique place. We were only tourists on that day and the car that picked us up was new, very friendly driver and great tour guide. If you love mountains, this place is definitely for you! We also stopped by the river, where the water was so clean, you could drink it! Overall, very nice place!

The scenarios all along to the lagoon is not impressive. The 34 turns on the road might make you dizzy. The inca Lagoon well is solo.
Visit to the small winery is not that good particularly it takes up so much of the time of the day. We joined the tour on March 5 via aviator.

I booked this for my parents who do not speak Spanish. I specified to have English guide, but the driver who came does not speak English at all. My parents were the only 2 person in the group. No introduction or any communication from the driver throughout the whole trip. Based on the tour description, it sounds like it will stop at Chacabuco Monument and a few other places, in fact the driver only made one stop at the Inca Lagoon for 2 hours. My parents were picked up from hotel at 7:40 am, and were dropped at the hotel at 2:15 pm. That's 6.5 hrs, instead of the 10 hrs described on the website. The last straw. My dad forgot his hat on the car. The hotel staff made several calls to the company and the driver to see if the driver can find it. Never heard anything back from the driver. This is by far the worst experience in my parents' 20 days south America trip.

Peace, the freshest of air and magnificent scenery! We were amazed that the tour took place since we we the only two in the 6 seater car but Willi, our independent tour guide, was happy to see us and to entertain us with information and jokes all the way - and it is a long drive to and from, up twisting, climbing, narrow roads. We opted to have lunch at the hotel and again, we were the only clients until two more followed as we left. The food was delicious, the service very calm and friendly and I had my first but not last pisco sour.It was one of the most memorable trips of our cruise and definitely worthwhile - if you don't mind several hours in the car and, due to the elevation, have no breathing problems.
