Humantay, is a snow-covered mountain that is part of the Vilcabamba mountain range and gives rise to the formation of this splendid turquoise lagoon that is fed by the glaciers of the mountain of the same name and that is a jewel of nature in the Salkantay route.
The Humantay Lake is located in the province of Anta, Cusco area, and this is how the thousand-year-old city of Cusco surprises us once again, presenting a new alternative for travelers who want to enjoy nature.
The natural landscape at the foot of the snow surrounded by imposing glaciers, this walk is worth it, since the landscapes are incredible with easy access to reach.

Pick up was on time. Clean van, professional guide, Miguel. Driver also was driving safe and nice. Lunch included in tour was way above my expectation, very good. Also can you use this tour to see Sacred Valley and you can be dropped in Ollantaytambo. I recommend!

Everything from start to finish was great! Our guide, Freddy and driver Lucio were awesome. They made sure everything went as scheduled and we had 0 issues! Freddy was super chill and hilarious! The breakfast and lunch is good and was a great start and finish to the day. We ended up getting horses (80 soles) because the hike is no joke! It’s about 20% flat, 80% incline. Overall, it was worth it once you get to the lake! I’d recommend booking here if you are interested in going!

I found out about Humantay Lake by chance on Instagram, and I am so glad I went. It was raining when we left Cusco, but by the time we started walking, it was clear and could see blue sky. After about an hour of hiking, what a view! Thanks for the guide and a driver for taking us to the beautiful place. I would recommend anyone who stay in Cusco to go there!
