Great place to visit for a day out. We got the bus down from salou took roughly 25 mins. Got the bus across the road from McDonald's down at the beach front.

Stay on the bus to the end where you will get off at the main station. Main station is a the centre of town which is great we turn left and walked for 5mins to the main shopping mall it even had a primary.
After that we went back to the round about and took the 3rd street on the right and went up to the main attractions. Lovely statues and great views at the top at the balcony. Had a coffee and kids chilled with an ice cream, was great watching the rustle and bustle while enjoying a coffee.

Stayed around 5 hrs then walked back to the main bus station checked for a bus heading back to salou and there was one every 25 mins. Only took 15mins to get back to salou.

Great day out, we had a 6 year old child and a teenager.

Shops are cheaper than salou as your out of the tourist area.

This was a great tour of Tarragona to see the ancient ruins. I’m always interested in history and Eli was the expert! She knows the architecture, culture, people, food, geography, and everything else! She made our trip interesting and so easy because she took care of us, every step of the way. Eli will accommodate you according to your interests. It was an awesome day, so the 7.5 hours went by so fast! We highly recommend Eli if you are thinking about visiting Tarragona. Her English is great and we learned so much about the Roman influence in this area of Spain. With the spectacular views and the Roman structures, we came home with many great photos.

My husabnd and I really really enjoyed a wonderful day tour with pleanty of time for lucnh. We wre sorry we did not stay here in Tarragona instead ogf Barcelona s it was not nearly as busy, much cheaper restaurants/bars, more to see ( from our point of view) , less homelessness and beggars , and the list goes on. Lots to see on way there and it was a real gem of an experience. Antonio our guide was very informative and helpful but was untidy and poorly presented which was a little disappointing.
