Hilarious tour around the city to see the legendary local doggo statues.
8 short stops = 22 dogs. Big or small, breed or mix, historic or imaginary; Budapest has it all!
What do the mayor of New York and Mark Zuckerberg have in common? Of course their Hungarian dogs! Have you ever seen a Hungarian Vizsla or Puli dog?
And there are even more breeds!
You find numerous statues all over the town depicting dozens of doggies from various themes. May it be Ancient Greek Epic poetry or a once lived local vet's loyal dog, a cheerful girl walking her dog at the river or multiple characters from a 500 year old funny fairytale.
Get involved and immerse yourself into local modern art.
Come and meet 22 doggie statues on this unique tour off the beaten track!

We love unique tours that offer a different prospective to the norm and this definitely ticks the box. Edith was a very experienced guide that highlighted a lot of unique and popular sites and facts about the city.
It was amazing to find so many statues hidden in plain site so to speak. These pieces of art I imagine are ignored by thousands on a daily basis. The work of Mihály Kolodko which is introduced later in the tour and then features so prevalently in the latter stages was really interesting and piqued an interest to explore his work outside of the tour.
Definitely a great way to get a unique perspective on the hidden art that Budapest has to offer and Edith also highlighted potential places to revisit.

This was a very impressive tour. Our tour guide, Edith, was fantastic. She shared her young life experiences with us. Memories that are appreciated. So glad we did this tour.
