You will learn how to cook real khachapuri "Ajaruli" according to an old recipe of the families in Ajara (Georgian region). It is famous Georgian cheese pie with egg yolk in the center. You will make the true Ajarian khachapuri under the guidance of our cook, and also you will make Georgian dumplings - "khinkali" in style of local highlanders. During the class you will hear interesting stories about Georgia, its culture and inhabitants.
Of course, after the class you will enjoy the meal you cooked, with a glass of delicious homemade wine (included in the price). You can continue the feast and order any dishes and drinks from the menu of a cozy cafe that hosts the event.

Irina was an incredibly gracious host. She was warm and welcoming, and shared stories with us about her family and her love of cooking. My son does not eat meat, so she made sure to prepare a vegetarian option for him. She gently guided us and even gave us the specific recipes for how to prepare khinkali and khachapuri at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and Irina's passion and love for what she does is not only obvious, but infectious. To do this in someone's home, rather than some restaurant, felt very special. I would repeat this experience in a second.

This cooking class was fantastic. I had a great time at Irinas apartment cooking the different dishes. Irina is such a lovely and kind person with a good sense of humor. She explained everything very good and had time to write everything down. The food was delicious. I will never forget this experience 🙏🏼

Irina was such a lovely host and teacher. She welcomed us into her home and we had a hands on experience in preparing khinkali and adjarian khachapuri. She patiently waited as I wrote down recipes and translated everything to both English and Russian to accommodate the 3 of us.
Thank you so much for a lovely evening, and I can’t wait to prepare these dishes when I’m back in France :)

We went as a couple and our host was Irina. We had the best 2 hours. Irina was very passionate about imparting her cooking skills to us and also keen to hear about traditional foods in our country. It's such a heartwarming experience to be invited into her home kitchen and have her impart her cooking skills and hear about her life experiences. This is what travel is about, not just seeing great sights but also, experiencing the hospitality of a local. This is a highlight of our time in Tbilisi.

Irina is an excellent teacher! I was the only one during the class, and she made me feel very welcome in her home. She made sure I had time to write down the recipes and take any pictures and videos that I needed. The food tasted even better than in restaurants, and I can’t wait to make it back home for my friends and family.

Calling this a cooking class is an understatement… not only did we make awesome food, but we also got the privilege to experience Georgian culture from up close. This is a great way to spend an afternoon if you enjoy cooking or even if you simply enjoy eating like I do!
