So happy we decided on a tour then driving the road to Hana ourselves. Our tour guide Yvette was awesome. She knew the road like the back of her hand. Breakfast and lunch were included. Stopped at lava tube for lunch. Lunch was delicious. Saw sea turtles. Got local chocolate. Went swimming. Amazing day.

Road to Hana was amazing and our driver/guide Paula was amazing. We really felt like ohana and loved learning so much about the local culture. I highly recommend this tour!

Taking the Tour to Hana was absolutely worth it! The views, the stops and the tour guide Paula’s knowledge of the island was amazing! I would truly recommend taking the tour since they know the winding road and the area and all the great stops! Take some motion sickness meds as the roads are so winding! 🌸🌺

We had a great time on our road to Hāna tour. Yvonne was an amazing tour guide. Fortunately also we had a wonderful family on the tour. The trip was worth it , we had breakfast at a lovely plantation with great service and beautiful grounds. My only concern was I thought we were going to have lunch at a restaurant but the food was packed and served at a location by our tour guide.
Our amazing tour guide Yvonne made sure we had a great time together and we felt like a family on tour. Yvonne you’re the best 💞

We booked with Valley Isle Excursions after watching a YouTube video with Travis as the guide. We requested Travis and he definitely did not disappoint. Having grown up in Hana, he made everyone comfortable with his knowledge of the area and especially his experience driving the Road to Hana! He kept everyone involved and entertained the entire trip. I thought it was going to be too long, but it was an amazing experience that we enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much Travis and Valley Isle Excursions for making our stop in Maui an awesome memory we will cherish for a lifetime.

We loved the tour, it met all our expectations. Ivonne our guide, the best, was a member of the group, shared a lot of information about the place and managed the times very well! Delicious breakfast, nice detail of the flower for the women in the group, great stops and views, tasty lunch. Fortunately, we had a beautiful day which allowed us to take better advantage of the walk to get into the water on the black beach and in the pond with the waterfall. I highly recommend this ride

Amazing scenery on the Road to Hana! Beautiful, rugged coastline, lush rainforest full of waterfalls and a black sand beach. It was as advertised, for sure. But our tour guide, Daniel, made it a fun, educational, epic journey! Add in great music and some banana bread and you won't find a better way to spend the day on Maui.

The trip was a great way to suck in the beauty of Maui , great stops, and excellent tour guide ( Travis ) !
Company confirmed all detail the day prior for pick up etc, Travis arrived couple minutes early for pick up, then we headed off to picturesque spot for light breakfast, tour ride was excellent and small group setting was just right.
Lots of history, local music and culture both seen and talked about.
Numerous waterfalls, one lane bridges, local stops ( banana bread , shaved ice, small market in Hana, black sand beach, lunch and more spots for pictures ! )
Let's not forget the Turtles on the beach for an ending ! Way to end it !
Great tour company with even better tour guide Travis or as we renamed LARRY to continue on with his outgoing playfulness.
If you're looking for interaction, fun time, full of information and beautiful locations ? Book with them and definitely ask for Travis for a tour guide

This was the BEST Road to Hana tour I have ever experienced. Our tour guide, Joe ("Uncle"), made the entire trip. He was wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind. A true local - you can really tell how much he cherished the island; on every stop the people greeted him with so much love. Groups were small and intimate, so we were able to make bonds with other travelers (8 people in total for ours). We felt like a little family going on a road trip with Grandpa! One of my favorite things was learning about the diverse plant life; there were so many trees and flowers I had never known to exist or had seen before. Breakfast and lunch were fresh, healthy, and delicious. Other memorable stops included Aunty Sandy's Famous Banana Bread, the black sand beach at Wai'anapanapa State Park, and the freshwater waterfall where we plunged into 60 degree water 🥶 If you are considering doing a Road to Hana tour while in Maui, I strongly encourage you to consider booking with Valley Isle Excursions. Excellence from beginning to end.
