Discover the most visited museums in Florence and two of the most visited in the world alongside a professional guide, admiring the most important works and appreciating the art of the Italian Renaissance.
The guide will take you through the priority entrance into both galleries without having to wait in the long lines and explain the most important works of art.
The Uffizi Gallery with its pictorial collections, masterpieces by artists and protagonists of the Renaissance such as Michelangelo, Giotto, Botticelli, Caravaggio, Leonardo da Vinci and many others. Later the guide will take you to the Accademia Gallery, the second most visited museum in Florence to discover Michelangelo's David, the most famous Florentine symbol. The gallery is one of the places with the highest number of sculptures by Michelangelo, besides you can admire the museum of musical instruments, the collection of paintings with a golden background and the Sala dei Prigioni with sculptures designed for Pope Julius II.

I’m sorry I cannot remember our guides name as she was phenomenal. Not only was she an expert in art history she continues to research and seek out new thoughts on the meanings of some of the works of art. She also encouraged us to research art from different points of view to create our own opinion. She made these museums come alive and focused on the highlights of this large museum. She and the tour were one of the best we’ve done. Highly recommend this!!!!

Thomas and Mirell were wonderful tour guides. We appreciated the small group and ability to skip the lines, particularly at the Accademia.

Manuela was the most exceptional tour guide we have had on this whole trip. She took us on the Ufizzi museum part of the tour. We had a different guide for the accademia tour. Manuela, a high school history teacher, is completely engaging with stories that taught me more in 2 hours about 200 years of renaissance art than I could ever have anticipated. I wish the tour could have gone on for a full day. Of course the museum would take a week to go through, so Manuela was very skilled at picking specific paintings for us to look at which really highlighted why the greatest artists are considered so great. Of course, at prime season, the museum is very crowded, but Manuela was also very skilled at getting us close to the paintings so we could really see what she was talking about.
The second part of the tour was with a different guide and while she was knowledgeable and friendly, you really don’t need a guide to go see the David. It really is the highlight of the museum and there’s really not much more to see there. You do need to skip the line tickets!

The tour was great. For us it was a perfect amount of time. Our guide pointed out the highlights in both galleries. Only problem was we hard some trouble finding the meeting place. We had the address but google maps became confused at the Uffizi. We asked a tour guide from another company who told us that the street was behind the Uffizi then it was easy to find. This would be helpful information to put in with the meeting place location.
