We are going to have a perfect mix between the pre-Columbian world with the native history of the older brothers the Muiscas, in the sacred lagoon of Guatavita and the first wonder of Colombia the Salt Cathedral where we have a connection of culture; indigenous, colonial and republican. we will discover the world and cosmovision of the ancient territory to the present. We will also have an experience with typical foods for breakfast and lunch and some snacks along the way. We will visit the towns of the Cundinamarca region and admire the nature that surrounds us and the beautiful landscapes and architecture of different times. lots of history and culture.

The tour guide Diego and the driver are very nice. During this trip, you can fully understand the Colombian culture and the actual life in Bogota, and you can also enjoy the local traditional food. I highly recommend everyone to choose this tour.

I had a great time on this tour! The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable! We started early in the morning and did a full day tour of the Salt Cathedral and Guatavita Lagoon. Must do!

Visitas 2 lugares que son increíbles y que debes de visitar si vas a Bogotá. La Catedral de Sal es una obra de arte en su conjunto, tanto lo hecho por los mineros, como la iluminación.
Guatavita tiene vistas majestuosas tanto al lago, como a las montañas. Los guías, por lo menos el que nos tocó, es de la zona y cuenta muy bien la historia.

The scenic drive to the sites were very interesting..
Restaurant for breakfast was very cozy and you’d experience a true Colombian meal.
Diego my guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the lake and the uses of the variety floral plants and trees as we hiked to Lake Guatavita.
Salt Lake Cathedral!!! One is in awe to see and hear the intriguing story and sculptures as you explore this underground city!!
A great all day trip!!

Lorena did a great job showing us the salt Cathedral and Guatavita lake.
She was very knowledgeable about the history and culture and plants of the area . Breakfast was very good.

We loved the tour from start to finish Elizabeth was an excellent guide and a very warm person. The meals were very good and we definitely enjoyed the entire tour, it was totally worth it. 100% recommended.

It’s not an official trip to Bogotá unless you visit the Salt Cathedral and Guatavita Lagoon. The cathedral is stunning in construction and history and the views from the lagoon were breathtaking. Our guide Elizabeth was amazing and so was our driver Andres.

I had a great day out seeing Lake Guatavita and The Salt Cathedral. Both were very unique and i enjoyed my day immensely. My guide Diego was fantastic. He spoke excellent English and did a great job explaining everything to me. Would thoroughly recommend this day trip.
