Our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive for an hour before we reach our destination at Lung Ngoc Hoang nature reserve. First, we do rowing into the meandering canals of Lung Ngoc Hoang Nature Reserve, which is surrounded by water hyacinth and water lettuce covering the surface. This allows you to fully immerse yourself in the forest's enchanting atmosphere while observing the varied flora and fauna that thrive within its bounds.
We will then climb to the observatory to contemplate how thousands of diverse birds fill the sky and listen to melodic songs. Lung Ngoc Hoang stands as a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife aficionados.
We also walk around 30 minutes on the jungle to end of our wonderful experience.

This tour showed me the Vietnam I had pictured in my imagination. Lush tropical forest, traveling by a long boat on small quiet and peaceful estuaries, birds flying above and also expansive views of the forest and rice fields from canopies. Mariah accompanied us with a big smile and was very informative. She transmitted her love for her land and was a delightful and very well prepared guide. Wonderful tour. I can highly recommend it!

Thanks to our guide Nga we spent a fantastic afternoon, rich in human and natural discoveries. Nga was very attentive, introducing us to a couple of artisans, making us appreciate tropical fruits, and providing us with explanations to best experience this canoe trip in a wild, extraordinary landscape.
Fantastic !

Mariah was a great guide, I enjoyed the tour with her, she is nice and authentic. The landscape is beutiful, agroforestry systems and lots of eucaliptus but also lots of morning glory in the water and birds. The driver was good, they picked me up in my accomodation and dropped me here as well (despite I am a bit far from the meeting point :) thanks

It was a unique trip. Our guide Hannah, with her extensive knowledge and friendly, approachable manner, brought us very close to the flora, fauna, country and people. We took a long-tail boat across dreamy jungle streams to two observation towers. There we saw cranes, cormorants and storks. For a snack we had a cool coconut and a unique mango. On the way back we took a short hike past rice fields and through the jungle. Thank you Hannah!

The waterways full of water lettuce and mangroves is a sensory delight. You end up at 2 different look-out towers, one overlooking the waterways and forest and the other bright green rice fields and groves of mango trees. We saw a large colony of open billed storks, kingfishers, coucals, egrets., purple heron, cormorants, and a number of other birds.

Our guide (Mariah) was a lovely woman who spoke perfect English. We stayed a long while at the lookouts and she did not rush us at all.

Car and driver were also great.

Nga, my guide, was absolutely charming and took great care of me. I was entitled to VIP treatment because I was alone with her for this outing. She is an adorable, enthusiastic and very professional little woman. She loves her country and she knows how to present it to foreigners like me.

She picked me up from my hotel at 2 p.m. and we drove to a house along the river to meet a family who makes bamboo baskets. They were funny and warm. I was able to try my hand at basket weaving and I really enjoyed this moment of manual work with the Vietnamese. It's hard work and these people deserve to be seen and shown their courage.

Then, towards the nature reserve where we took a boat piloted by a very calm and composed man who took us through the waterways lined with exuberant vegetation. Nga showed me lots of interesting things and I was able to observe dozens of birds, beehives in the trees, etc... We also climbed into observation towers to better see the herons flying above canopy and rice fields in a calm so rare in Vietnam. We didn't meet anyone, it was magical. After 15 minutes of walking in the forest, we drove back to Can Tho where Nga made me taste local specialties in a charming restaurant. That was delicious.

Nga, spoiled me a lot during this tour. I was allowed water, mosquito repellent, fresh coconut, mangoes, passion fruit, cakes. He is someone who is very attentive and leaves time to enjoy the beauties of this country.

This half day tour actually lasted 6 hours and it went by too quickly.

I loved.

Thanks Nga.
