Ich war zum ersten Mal in Porto. Und die 3,5 Stündige deutsche Stadtführung mit Gabriella war einfach nur lobenswert. Nur empfehlenswert - tolle Persönlichkeit, mega Wissen zur Stadt, Land und Leute usw. Würde jederzeit wieder mit Gabriella eine Stadtführung unternehmen. vg und weiter so!!!!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Porto, allerdings nur 2 Tage und haben von dort unsere Rundreise in Portugal gestartet.
Wir haben direkt über die Homepage gebucht und hatten daher im Vorfeld per Mail schon regen Kontakt mit Nicolas und haben vorab wertvolle Tipps (z.B. Restaurants etc.) erhalten.
Unsere Führung mit Gabriel war super interessant. Wir waren nur zu viert, da war es fast eine private Stadtführung! Gabriel hat uns äußerst kompetent seine Stadt gezeigt, wir haben auch sehr viel über das tägliche Leben erfahren, z.B. Wohnungssituation, Lohngefüge etc.
In den McDonalds wären wir alleine nie rein gegangen.
Beim nächsten Porto-Besucht steht die Führung „Porto unberührt“ auf unserem Programm.
Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

We booked the private tour (3.5 hours) because there was no group tour available on our first day in Porto. But it was the right decision anyway. Gabriel was very friendly, committed and competent and gave us an entertaining first impression. Not only of the tourist highlights, but also of the history of the city (architecture...) and the country, as well as the living conditions of the people who live there. (why and how do people who are not well off financially live in the small, winding streets and houses down in Ribeira?). We got lots of great tips for the next few days (the open-air escalators in the former Jewish quarter and the organ music in the Igreja dos Clérigos are not in any of our travel guides...).
The break offered was not necessary for us, the time flew by. The end of the tour was chosen so that we had some alternatives for a quiet lunch break with a snack right there on the spot. The arrangements about the time and meeting point in advance were very nice and completely problem-free.
So: do it! Please on the first day.

We had 2 wonderful tours with Nicolas, who showed us his Porto. Porto not just from the perspective of tourists but individually, places we would never have come across, background information, insider tips, experiences of a German who lives in Porto. Our visit to Porto was simply wonderful. Our great city guide Gabriela contributed to this. She introduced us to her city with a lot of enthusiasm and empathy and showed us many highlights and hidden corners of this beautiful city. We were a group of 6 women and had booked a private tour with DISCOVER PORTO and were thrilled.
