This walking, covers all the major historical sites and attractions and both the Pest side of the city and the history of Buda (from the Pest side of the Duna). The tour will give you the chance to view and explore and gain a historical understanding which covers 50 points of historical interest.
You can tip the guides as little or much as you wish depending on the experience. There is a booking fee payable to trip adviser.
Our tours are fast-moving and our guides are professional historians.

We meet on Kalvin ter, outside OTP bank and the chemist, metro exit b. Look for our guides holding a yellow umbrella.

Our Guide (Carolina?) were the best! Althougt most of the people did not arrive at the meeting point she made the tour with only 4 of us for over 2 hours. And did not accept any tip for it. Thank you so much for this expirience. Highly appreciate her!

Our guide did a great job showing us the highlights with lots of history which we really enjoyed. We did this as our first tour on the first day of our trip to get a look at the city. It was great.

We had a tour guide called Victoria. She was excellent, so knowledgeable and interesting. We tipped her but were very disappointed that some others didn't. These guides rely on tips as the session was only 3 euros each.

Our host Victoria was very professional and really knows the history of Hungary, she is also a lecturer in a University. It was a tiring tour indeed but she was able to share to us a lot of information about the rich heritage of the country and including personal stories and recommendations!
She was also very apologetic because the other joiners was not able to attend, making our group small than expected (only 5 people made it) but she still carry on with the tour, this is fine from my POV at least the tour felt like a private one!
Victoria really did an excellent job! From sending reminders about the tour, where is the meeting place, and during the tour!
Very recommended tour guide and hopefully she will be your host as well! :)

Good tour and great effort by the tour guide however there needed to be a 5 minute breather for buying water and clicking photographs amongst ourselves.

An excellent walking tour at a reasonable pace. Attila was both friendly and very knowledgeable. He took time to recommend useful places and activities and answered all questions with great enthusiasm. We got a really insightful overview of this beautiful city and it’s fascinating history. Victoria is the consummate tour guide, her voice is clear and we'll projected and she only speaks when the group isn't walking. All this means is that you don't miss a word of the wealth of knowledge that she has. We learnt so much of the history of this country and saw the diversity of the city from the ghetto to the Parliament building. Highly recommended.
