How about learning the techniques of Samurai and Ninja during your stay in Osaka?
Professional instructors will teach you the movement of katana and shriken throwing.

Some of the most fun we had with good friends and great instructors. Bring the partners to watch and they will enjoy it as much as you will.

This is the second time we have done this experience and both times we had so much fun. The boys chose to dress up as Samurai or Ninja. Then we were all given swords and taught some moves. We were taught a choreographed battle and took turns while the others watched (and laughed) and they staff videoed the battle, with sound effects and everything. The kids had a great laugh at hubby and I trying to remember the moves. We had a blast! We finished off with some Shuriken (ninja star) throwing, which Mum won much to the boys dismay! As we left one of the staff showed us his golden Shuriken, his trophy as the top ninja star thrower in Japan. We would all highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun Japanese experience.

This was a very fun experience and I would recommend it depending on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a serious martial arts class this is not for you. The class is run by stage actors with a background in kendo not a martial arts school. If you like old samurai movies and would enjoy acting out a scene from them in costume then this is what you are looking for.
