Of all the places we visited - this was the least amazing. I mean - must do!! If this was in your city it would be the best thing and you would take everyone who visited! Here? It's tiny and actually less stunning than most of the churches we dipped into for free! Awesome nonetheless and don't skip it. But! Tickets can be purchased on site and the line isn't too huge. You can also book online for timed entry - although the site is a little wonky. If Pantheon is part of your larger tour to view other city sites and includes a guide to tell you about the works and the history - I think that would be the sweet spot.
