Pick-up from hotel/meeting point and transfer to the port. Arrival to Capri and tour of the island by boat to visit the Marvellous Grotto, the White, Green and the Blue Grotto (the visit is guaranteed except if the Grotto is closed due to bad sea and weather conditions), the Natural Arch, Villa Curzio Malaparte, Faraglioni rocks and the Lighthouse of Punta Carena. Couple of stops for swimming and a relaxing break with snacks and drinks on board. Stop for about 4 hours to visit the island on your own and return to your hotel/meeting point with limoncello tasting on board.

The tour was amazing, such a great experience with lots of picturesque locations to see. We weren’t able to see the blue grotto due to poor conditions, however our skipper instead took us to see several other grottos so we didn’t feel we had missed out (he even let us swim through one and picked us up on the other side). We spent time on the boat exploring, at a few swimming spots and a few hours on the small side of Capri island. I wish we could do it all again!

Antonio and Giuseppe, tour guides, made the experience special and unforgettable. We left the tour with new made friends all because Antonio and Giuseppe created such a special experience.

Such good value, the tour guide was fantastic. For the three of us it was circa £350.00 which seemed a lot when we could of got a walk on walk off ferry for less, but to see Capri from the outside looking in was worth every penny.

This was one of our favorite parts of our whole trip! Rosario and Francesco were our crew and they were amazing. So friendly and fun! We wanted to spend more time on the boat and they were able to accommodate us and took us to lots of different grottos and spots to swim. He also gave great tips for getting around on the island and what to do there! Highly recommend.

I paid to see the Blue Grotto, but after they left the dock over an hour behind schedule… they said we didn’t have time to wait for the boats to clear to see the main highlight of the tour. What a ripoff, do not use buyourtour!

The tour started off at the Mandara Parking Garage in Positano. We were a group of 16 picked up in two courtesy cars and driven to Sorento. There we were met by the hostess and tour organizer (name withheld for privacy). She collected an extra €5 per person for anchoring in Capri. We were then led on a short walk to the lift that takes folks down to the docks. There we were split up into two groups. The smaller group was on a smaller boat. While the captain and his first mate were good sailors, the boat itself was not meant for the high seas. Even a light headwind results in a bumpy ride.
First stop was the blue grotto. The captain took the boat in close where you have to transfer to a small rowboat to enter the Grotto. It’s absolute chaos and mess as to who gets picked up sooner and who has to wait hours. There were at least 15 boats of various sizes jostling for position. Oh, and it’s an extra €15 per person to enter the grotto plus tips. After about a 45min wait, we were picked up and taken inside. It was a very beautiful experience once inside. The cave is illuminated by the sun shining a bright light into the crystal clear blue waters and hence the name.
After an another choppy ride to the other side of the island, we came by the green grotto which was a good swim experience. The waters were cold but you get used to it quickly. We the. Made a short trip to the harbor and moored, and were taken ashore on a dinghy to a restaurant that had very good seafood. We only had about 2h on that island. Not enough for a walk up to the village.
The return to Sorrento was the worst as the winds made the ride very rough. The captain had to make it back by 6:30 and was going full throttle that made it even worse. A couple of people got seasick and threw up lunch.
Overall, an average experience. A bigger boat and more time (start earlier and and take the time sailing) would have been much better - makes for less seasickness. Also, a detailed itinerary explaining the hidden costs and time at each site would be helpful. 8h is it enough for the agenda - needs at least 10. It can be a great tour once these adjustments are made.
