Our tour around the Duoro Valley would not have been complete if not for Filipe "Fil" G, our guide and private driver! He was most courteous, knowledgable, and friendly throughout our entire tour. Meeting us at our hotel in the City Center of Porto, promptly 15 minutes early to ensure we did not have to wait for him, we were off to Duoro Valley. He made excellent conversation and was detail oriented as he shared about his approach to driving and leading tours. Instantly, my husband and I knew that we were in great hands and that we would get everything that we wanted, and MORE, out of our tour. Given that we had scheduled our winery tour at Quinta Do Vallado in the early afternoon, Fil had already rearranged the order of the cities in which we would be visiting (i.e., first we would visit Pinhao, and second, Peso da Regua). Our trip to Duoro Valley was made memorable thanks to Fil's amazing company and expertise. If considering this tour, please insist on booking with Fil - you will not regret it!
