were picked up by Wessam, which is 2 and a half hours to Petra. He stopped mid-way for a 15-minute break where you can buy souvenirs, a bathroom, and have a little snack. Then we follow Shaker our local guide who gave us the highlights of this Unesco site because we were returning to Cairo that day. We took the electric golf cart vehicle to save some time. Shaker was very knowledgeable and made sure that we were fine because of my bad knees. There are some shops as well and we had a nice pomegranate juice inside a cavern. I would recommend bringing US dollars because they gave you both prices. Shaker was able to make our dream come true. This tour is worth it even for one day.
