We will pick you up from the hotel at 3:00 in the morning and drive to Cairo about 430 km. with an air-conditioned car or mini-bus.
Around 5:30 a.m. we take a short break in a restaurant.
We arrive in Cairo around 8 a.m. and first take a small city tour of old Cairo so that you can get to know real life in Egypt better.
Then we visit the Egyptian Museum, the treasury of 7000 years of civilization. The legacies of ancient Egyptian culture are preserved in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, one of the most important museums in the world. They tell the story of an intelligent people.
We then have lunch in a typical local restaurant and then drive to Giza, where we visit the Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. The pyramids are certainly the most spectacular evidence of a high culture on the Nile.

We had a great day in Cairo on May 24th, 2024. Everything went smoothly. Special thanks to our extremely friendly Egyptologist Magdy, who told us so many interesting things about the pyramids and the exhibits in the Egyptian Museum.

As a family, we booked the day trip from Hurghada by plane to Cairo/Giza to see the pyramids and everything went really well from the start! As big fans of Egyptian history, it was important to us not to book a run-of-the-mill tour or a coffee trip! It really exceeded all of our expectations. Our guide Magdy had so much knowledge and surprised us with so much new, interesting information, just great! He was so attentive to us, even when I was feeling unwell because of the heat, he and our driver took very good care of me. Thank you both very much!

We were picked up at the hotel on time at 2:15 a.m. in a minibus with two drivers. After a good 5-hour drive we reached Cairo. Our tour guide got in there.
We first drove to the pyramids before the heat really started. There we were given a lot of information about the construction and history of the pyramids. On the panoramic plateau we had the opportunity to take impressive photos.
We then went to the Sphinx with lots of interesting information.
The lunch was very good and typically Egyptian.
We then drove to the Egyptian Museum. There was also a lot to marvel at and the relevant information.
At around 7:30 p.m. we were back at the hotel, exhausted but happy.
We can 100% recommend the trip.

The tour was great. Super organized and communicated via WhatsApp. We wanted to change the tour a little because we really wanted to go to the new GEM as well. Our request was taken into account and the tour was adapted accordingly. The guide (Maghdi) was very experienced, had a lot of information for us and spoke very good German. The lunch (barbecue buffet) was also very tasty. The driver accompanied us well throughout the day. We would be happy to recommend Memnon Tours!

Hello, I did a one day tour to Luxor and a one day tour to Cairo with memon. The organization was great and Geiz spoke almost perfect German. I saw everything I wanted to see. I am completely satisfied. I can only recommend the company.

We were in Cairo yesterday, private tour. Pyramids, Sphinx etc. What can I say? It was perfect. The driver, here in Hurghada, was at the hotel on time for the trip to the airport. The driver in Cairo knew the area. Despite the traffic jam, he took us quickly and safely to the individual places via back roads. Both vehicles were very clean and well maintained. Chilled drinks were available all day.
And then Aladin, our Egyptologist, competent. He shared his knowledge with us in a captivating way, so that it never got too long-winded for us. He didn't just rattle off his program. When asked, he always knew the answer.
He also explained Cairo to us impressively.
It was the perfect day, again and again!!

We opted for a private tour and did not regret the small extra cost compared to a group tour. Mohammed, our tour guide, looked after us excellently, imparted a lot of useful information and had a friendly answer to every question. The photos he took of us are also a nice memory and since we were alone with Mohammed, we were also able to decide flexibly and take the boat tour on the Nile that Mohammed suggested and organized at short notice. In the afternoon we went to the market, where there was also time for a cup of tea together and a little private chat.
Our driver in Cairo should not go unmentioned either. He was always there on time and took us safely through Cairo.
The planning and coordination took place in advance with Memmnon Reisen via WhatsApp in German and was thoroughly professional. The organization of the trip was perfect.
Conclusion: This trip was an all-round successful day and we would like to say a big thank you to the Memmnon Reisen team.

We had a private 1 day tour to Cairo by plane from Hurghada. We really enjoyed the trip. I found the pyramids the most interesting. Thanks to the tour guide who kept taking family photos for us. The museum was a bit too much for the children. Since we had come by plane, we still had enough time for the bazaar.
