We start the tour at our community centre where we introduce ourselves ourselves and illustrate the relevance of our location. Our guides will take you through a chronological journey, helping better understand the building's history and context.
We will go through the early days of grand opulence, government red-lining and social oppression. We will also detail the stories of urban decay and the building's resilient nature through complex economic times.
After we have provided you with context we will take a stroll through the neighborhood to meet the locals

You will enjoy a drink & lunch on the 51st floor of the building to complement the experience.

Guide was cool and knowledgeable. He worked with my time and gave out some good insights. I got enough info and was able to go explore some on my own. Good option tour to check out.

We spent a lovely time with Sean, visiting the downtown of Joburg with some extra activities like eating some specialities and taking a local taxi. We were only two with our guide which made the tour even more special. Thank you Sean!

We did a fun, interesting walking tour of Fox street with Tye and his crew, who were professional, responsive, and full of of stories about the area. Maboneng and Jewel City are vibey areas with cafes, art and design and the street is charming and worth seeing how the area is being gentrified. Very impressive.

Franck is the best guide of Joburg's innertown you can get!
He told me all about the places and had the patience and knowledge to respond all my questions about the city and the history of South Africa.
I definitely recommend this experience if you want to get to know Johannesburg's CBD and have a fun time.
