We had so much fun. I read a ton of reviews the night before and I have decided people must have crazy high expectations for a Pirate Ship cruise. We had a 2 and 4 yo with us and everything just worked out so well.
BUS: they offer bus pick ups at lots of hotels, we got picked up at the hotel next to us.
SWIMMING: Our tour had two stops for swimming. They had inflatable life vests for the kids which we wore in addition to our arm floaties we brought. The ladder to swim was steep but we managed carrying them easy enough.
LUNCH: The food was actually delicious; chunks of meat and salad for mom and dad (the sweet lady pirate saw me gobbling my salad between feeding my kids their food and gave me an extra one). Spaghetti for the kids and when they didn’t eat it there was enough bread to fill them up.
STAFF: These people seemed to be having a blast. They joked and played and helped when babies cried. The captain cracked himself up drawing a mustache on my two year old and I loved it. He also told me I was a good mom, which I will tell you, is an amazing thing to hear.
This was fun for us, even bought the pics for €15. We’d absolutely recommend. Loved it for what it was, a pirate themed Mediterranean cruise.
