Excellent guided tour, in an extraordinary archaeological site. Our guide Sebastiano was excellent: very competent, friendly and with a dose of irony that doesn't hurt. Absolutely positive experience.

I would recommend this tour. Without a guide it would be difficult to appreciate and understand the site. We learnt a lot.

Our experience was exceptional. Starting from the organization of the trip: Hermes Sicily Tours were very kind both in putting us in contact with other companies (in the case of excursions that they do not provide) and in rescheduling our visit at least a couple of times due to weather-related issues. But the real pearl was our guide Beatrice, unparalleled in kindness, competence, and patience. She captured everyone's attention and interest, from our children (aged 3, 5 and 7, with whom she was adorable) up to the adults. He adjusted both the itinerary and the times on the fly based on the children's needs, dedicating much more time than initially expected. Our day with Hermes Sicily Tours (and in particular Beatrice) was one of the best moments of our entire holiday.

Eva did a great job of showing us around the park. It was great to have a guide to explain everything we were looking at and to point out smaller details you'd never get out of a park map!.

Located in the north of Syracuse. Entrance fee 13 euros. If there are too many people at the ticket office, try the other side of the street. There is another ticket office at the very end of the overpriced souvenir shops. When it comes to the crowds at the toilets, it's the other way round; there are toilets in the park too. Take something to drink and sun protection with you, as you'll be walking in the sun most of the time. If you're there in the summer, the steps of the Greek theatre have modern covers as events take place there. You can also see grottos, the Roman theatre, the Ear of Dionysius, etc. We spent about 2 hours there. From Ortigia, you can reach the park comfortably on foot in about 40 minutes.
