This tour was amazing. The convenience of easy pickup and drop off made it really easy. Our guide, Thor, is extremely knowledgeable and provided so much information and wonderful stories throughout the tour. We had numerous stops for restrooms and a break for lunch (provide your own or purchase from the nature center). Our only critique was that if you were sitting in the back, it was difficult to hear him tell stories of Iceland. Even when he used a speaker it was very muffled.

A truly magnificent experience! We were able to explore the highlands with a smaller group of 6 in a 4 wheel drive vehicle that allowed us access to more remote places. The valley of tears , oasis area, and waterfalls were all breathtaking. In addition, we benefitted from the expertise of our guide Thor, who provided great insight into life in Iceland including historical as well as modern day, and even some mythology. This was a tour I would highly recommend.

What a great experience! We traveled off the beaten road and saw some amazing waterfalls and terrain. Our guide picked us up at our hotel despite being outside the city center. Otto the Viking was informative and considerate of our time at the different stops. We were unable to go to the last scheduled stop due to high winds closing the roads but he found an alternative stop that was beautiful.

This tour was fantastic and Thor is a wonderful guide! Everything about this tour was perfect! This is our 3rd trip to Iceland and we just can’t get enough. Seeing these waterfalls close up and off the beaten path is amazing. I highly recommend this tour — a must see!

It’s was a really great trip and experience. We saw a lot of beautiful waterfalls. We got to drive close and didn’t have to walk too far to see the waterfalls. The guide was very knowledgeable.

This small-group tour with Thor was one to remember! Thor answered our questions, gave us lots of different facts about Iceland, and provided lots of humor and jokes. He took us to different spots that I believe no tour bus could, including so many beautiful waterfalls! This was a memorable tour that I would recommend to anyone.

Thor was an excellent guide. He took us to places even other Icelanders we’re not aware of. He was also very friendly and knowledgable. He entertained us during the drive with local lore and helping us speak the local language. A++

Brilliant day out with Thor. He took the time to figure out what we wanted to do and allowed plenty of time for photographs. He made us feel very special, i would really recommend.

The last waterfall was definitely the highlight but it was all beautiful. Very small tour and Thor had great knowledge about the area.

Thor was an amazinging, knowledgeable and skilled guide and really added something special to an already great time. We were able to access specific areas of some of the locations that many would not be able to get to. If seeing some of Icelands breathtaking scenery and waterfalls is on your wish list you need to book this experience.
