Nusa Penida Three Dives Trip for Certified Divers

Been diving for 15 years, this is probably the dive centre that top it all.

Pre trip, conversation with Pure Dive was clear and concise. Staff was very helpful in getting us all the way from airport into Nusa Penida, the hotel.

Diving, briefing was very clear, equipment was new, staff was very attentive and the entire process of you stepping into dive centre tilll you go for dive and come back shower, was all well thought of. It is to the point of things like towel. Pure Dive provides soft towel which doesn't brush your skin when you dry up. That would be painful if you get sunburn, but yeah, a simple towel would have made life easier after dive.

Diving was split into 3 diver with 1 guide. You won't feel like a market diving with 9 divers and 1 guide kinda arrangement. Total of 9 divers on boat, they have 3 dive guide with us. And briefing, planning and execution is very clear.

Was diving with Abdou (I think that is how his name is spelled) most of the time. Fantastic guide, english speaking and very well verse with current situation of sea in Nusa Penida. Alongside with him was the owner, Ark (I think that is how his name is spelled) what a fantastic Ukrainian guy who have been diving in Nusa Penida for 15 years. Very experienced and very easy to dive with him.

Overall, I have no bad review for this dive centre really, the place itself aesthetically look so good, which that explains how much effort they put in to create a space for us to gather, prepare and go dive.

Awesome place indeed.

Really great trip, I did two days and the second day we went to Manta point and had the chance to see multiple Manta rays. Pure dive had great facilities with showers, a pool & lunch was good.

We booked to dive with them in July 23. Gede, Effi, Ark corresponded with me and arranged our bookings. All the information was clear and deposit straight forward. Unfortunately we had to cancel due to family events. They kindly allowed me to keep the deposit up to 2024 should we were able to make plan this year. So we did in January 24 and enjoyed every moment we had with them. Wayan gave us a refresher and he was very meticulous and covered everything we needed to know. They have a pool on site so it was very convenient. Next day we began our first day's dives and everything from equipment, boat trip, briefing was very well organised. The dive was brilliant and we saw our first mantas, and lucky enough to see them during our dives in the next two days. They have changing room and showers onsite that for before and after dives. The boats are just by the beach across the road from the dive resort. All the boatmen were very helpful in getting us ready for our dives all we did was to appear and ready in our dive suits. After the morning dives lunches were provided at the warung just by the boats. Lunches were simple but delicious and we could order extras and beer on our own cost. At the end of our trip, we were very pleasantly surprised to receive many photos and videos they took during our dives from them. We were very tempted to come back to see the mola mola with them.

Also we saw a bunch of mantas, turtles, and mola molas with them. Extremely professional!!’ Highly recommend it.

Amazing team and very well organised in organising my 3nt/4days diving package. I needed a refresher as I didn't dive in 4 years and the team was incredible.
Next day I went to my first dive and I was terrified, but they handled my fears very well.
Also, on dive 2 on the day after, the sea was very choppy and I was starting to get sea sick, we went to Manta point and as we started descending I had a major panic attack and wanted to take off my mouth piece at 25 m depth, immediately the instructor saw me, took me up slowly while grapping my arms and maintained eyes contact and instructed me to breath slowly, she ensured we made safety stops and then took me up to the surface where I just had a big emotional breakdown followed by seasickness! The instructor kept patting on my shoulders, got me water,, encouraged me to talk and calm down and she was a great listener. They took me back to shore to rest and then at the afternoon dive the same instructor (Entan) took me to light drift dive close to the shore, and because of her I felt so much calm and regained my confidence back.
The third day dive went amazing, took seasickness tablets and I was closely supervised by Abdul and he was so wonderful in the 2 dives and managed to do deep and drift dives and finally saw the mola mola.
The team managed to turn things around for me with their excellent safety and support measurements. If you want to dive in Nusa Penida, just go to Pure dive.

Awesome.
Really well run, with very well maintained equipment, great staff, and excellent guides.
Some of the best diving we’ve done (and we’ve done quite a lot, 400-500dives each).
We did 4 days of diving with them and loved every second of it.
Excellent briefings from the guides who were all really knowledgeable and very friendly.
Great value too.
The diving here is pretty spectacular. There’s obviously the Mantas as the big draw card but the other sites were all amazing too.
Definitely recommend getting in as many dives as you can if you visit.
Can’t speak highly enough of them, and wouldn’t hesitate to come back and do it all over again next time.

Couldn’t recommend this group enough!! All the staff were fantastic and across our 4 days we were shown the best dive sites around the island (based on safety and conditions). The convenience of the dive-n-stay package was awesome and it was super easy to walk to the dive center each morning and lunch included was such a bonus. If you are looking to go scuba diving around the Nusa Islands, then this is the way to go!
