This is a small group tour is unique because seeing the lavender fields is an unmissable experience, but also because it lets you go far away from big cities and immerse yourself in nature. We are aware most of the people buy this tour to take pictures, this is why we will spend most of your time in the lavender fields. If you happen to be alone we will offer to take pictures of you in the lavender fields. We also visit a small village of Provence. See beautiful landscapes and have the possibility of buying natural product as lavender honey, syrups, lavender bouquets, almonds, olive oil, directly from the producers. This tour is also unique as our driver/guides particularly kind and safe drivers.

Nicholas Was a wonderful guide and provided us with a lot of information about the history Aix en Provence. He brought us to many more fields than we expected and we managed to see the sunset for a final thrill. I would highly recommend this tour and try to take it late in the day to get the full experience.

Went on the 4hr Valensole Lavender tour with my mum. The mode of transport is a cosy minivan which we shared with a family of 6, so the tour was very cosy and highly enjoyable. The Lavender fields we visited were stunning, and the short stop in the village of Valensole was wonderful. Thank you so our kind guide who was so patient with us and also with great initiative to anticipate our needs. He taught us a lot on the history and other fun facts of Aix, would highly recommend this tour if you're in Aix during the lavender season :)

Wonderful lavender fields.
Driver needs to improve:
A.She arrived 40 min late without notifying us.
B. She drove really fast on windy roads. 2 people in the car were car sick, but she didn’t change her crazy driving.
C. Too long was spent in a pre planned lavender gift shop.

We met with Clemence at the meeting point near the rondelle close to Cours Mirabeau, then he drove us with the other guests (some already in the car from Marseille) towards the family owned Lavender store near their field. Here, the owned explained in french, which then Clemence translated, the difference between “Lavande” and “Lavandin”, the plant “imortelle” and their particular beneficial properties. They had a charming shop, I bought essential oils and soaps.

Afterwards, he drove us to the lavender fields. It’s one of those experiences that one has to be there to understand the beauty. The fields he took us to was calm and beautiful. He picked a spot where there were not too many tourists, so we can take awesome pictures. There were rows and rows of fully blooming lavender. The whole scenery is like a postcard, but better, because of the pleasant lavender scent that surrounds us, and the faint sound of buzzing bees which I found strangely calming. The bees did not attack at all, they were busy going from flower to flower. He also took as to another lavender field, which was equally mesmerizing. It was a hot day, so I suggest bring a hat, a bottle of water and a fan.

Then Clemence took us to a lovely small town, Valensole. We stopped there for a short time to explore and then he drove us back to the city. Clem was very nice, he explained everything fluently and making sure we’re comfortable. We had a wonderful experience, thank you for showing us the beauty of the Provence.

Our tour experience was amazing, and a huge part of that is thanks to our lovely and very informative tour guide - Jenny. We learned so much from her regarding the history of the Provence region, as well as the origin and uses of many native Provence herbs and plants. She stopped at three lavender fields for us, and even was able to find us two sunflower fields! She also let us explore the town of Valensole to try/buy some lavender products. Highly recommend this tour - it was well worth the price.

The tour guide stopped at various spots and showed us the best ways to capture this beautiful landscape. Also, to kick off the trip, a visit to an organic farm that produced a number of lavender products.
