This optional hike to the waterfall is a great way to cool off. After a one hour beautiful and serene trek through the jungle, we will arrive at the falls. Take an hour for a dip to relax and immerse yourself in nature. We hike back and continue the day

One of the most beautiful temples in all of America. With the Ko'olau mountain range a the backdrop of this breath-taking view, your family will be sure to love the time spent here

Turtles Turtles Turtles. This beach is famous for having resting turtles on it. If we are lucky we will get to see them!

Scenic stop off at chinamans hat for some drone video/photo if you so choose. We can also pick up some snacks along the way to eat while here

Optional snorkeling* One of the best snorkeling location on the island. Here we can snorkel to see the fish, turtles, reef and if you enjoy freediving, there are underwater caves to swim through.

This optional stop at the dole cannery for your family to learn about the history of pineapple plantations, try dole whip and enjoy the area.

Catch the sunset at…….. sunset beach. You’re going to truly feel the aloha when you experience this place

Great tour. Our driver guide, Summer, was superb. Did a great job customizing the tour for us. Got to visit eateries usually frequented by the locals, as well.

Both Mike and Jacob were amazing! They listened to what I wanted for an experience and customized an incredible day. They were knowledgeable of all the hidden gems on the island did not disappoint! Highly recommend!

When I booked my vacation to Hawaii, I had a dream that I wanted to come True. I can honestly say that by booking with Jacob and his team, everything I wanted to experience and feel is what I got.
Besides the great conversation, we went to lulumahu falls, hiked hanauma bay ridge for sunrise, até some of the most delicious food of my life and even found turtles while we were swimming.
I booked with these guys 2 months before the date we actually leave for Hawaii. Jacob called me and helped me plan everything for my trip, gave me amazing tips and honestly helped me save a lot of money.
If you’re looking to see the True Hawaii (: these are definitely the guys to go with!

I almost forgot to review this company! Lackluster tour for the amount of money we paid. It was pretty expensive for no reason. Our tourguide barely knew anything about Hawaii and I’m guessing the owner doesn’t care about his clients and hires literally anybody who has a car. On top of that, our guide seemed like he was high or something. *facepalm*

Don’t do it guys. Give your money to a more reputable company than this one. 👎🏼👎🏼

Had a nice time touring Honolulu with our guide Luca. We did a sunrise tour but didn’t know we had to climb a mountain about 1 mile. That was a little harder then expected at 5am but worth the view.
Overall a great 1/2 day tour.

If you’re reading this review, it means you’re already in the right mindset and interested in a uniquely Oahu adventure. The upfront investment in airfare, lodging and food for my family of four (hubby and I are each 49 & sons aged 18 and 12-going-on-25) left me a little breathless about how we could maximize our experience and not be “vacation poor” with going to an exotic vacation destination but unable to fully enjoy it. We spent seven nights/six days in Oahu. It didn’t take much research to figure out that chain restaurants and sitting on Waikiki Beach is not the Oahu experience I wanted. Anyone raising kids knows the struggle of getting them to “unplug” and enjoy being unplugged. My research led to committing two of our six vacation days with Jacob J. Scarlett of True Hawaii Tours.

WARNING: do not let his warm Matthew McConaughey accent and superbly built physique throw you off—-Jacob is substance beyond measure. He is personable, worldly, engaging, has a fantastic sense of humor, spiritual, patient, and classy. A tour guide being classy? Yes. And let me explain how these intangibles come into play….
Imperfection is part of the human condition. Having someone spend quality time with you/your family as you are hot, tired, and tested by nature may bring out your not-so-glamorous side. Jacob is grace personified. His easy way gently guides you to the fun and joy of dominating your goal. There were a couple times where I was willing to bail or scared but he reassured me I could do it. I’ll never forget the high-five he gave me after kayaking 45 minutes as if I were genuinely his partner and not the weak link. Additionally, and perhaps, unfortunately, both sons were a bit over-confident and over-zealous in adventuring. Jacob had the core strength to save them. From dying? No. He never put us in any crazy situations. But saved from serious injuries? ABSOLUTELY YES!

We approach parenting as a gift from God. This leads to an extremely high standard of care. Jacob earned our 1000% trust in taking the lead of our safe adventure-to-the-max! Emphasis on adventure but thank goodness he knows the ins-and-outs of how to safely experience it. Oahu hikes are not manufactured by Disney. A simple Google News search of Oahu hiking will convince you that safety absolutely needs to come first. He has the experience and sensibility to gauge which adventures fit you while also sharing little treasures of his beloved Hawaii. Favorite candy, ice cream, mid-day snacks, local eateries….all superb without the plastic tourist vibe nor price tag.

One last bit of advice: take advantage of the media package he offers. He is an extremely gifted videographer and photojournalistic with an artistic eye.

Great tour for families. Jacob was great accommodating all things we wanted to do and managing the time. He was very flexible and great with kids. I definitely recommend him if you want to get to know the real Oahu and stay away from the tourist traps.

#grateful my tour was not overly adventurous with my elders but I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience we were able to enjoy the slower Pace things of the island like swimming with the dolphins and Dukes on Sunday going to the temple with a special treat I'm always amazed by all the koi fish when my family comes back again I'm sure they will be asking for the same Adventure mahalo love you guys grateful grateful

Jacob did a fantastic job! He made our trip to Hawaii even more memorable than it was. We received photo books, photos and videos from him. I recommend Jacob as tour guide to everyone that goes!!!!
