After reading MANY reviews, I decided that this would be our 1st tour in Barcelona when we arrived, and was I right! Patrick was on time, easy to communicate with and an all-around very hospitable and super friendly tour guide. His storytelling is engaging and brought to life the history of the Gothic Quarter & Barcelona. He introduced us to some local favorites along the way, and made us forget our jet lag because we were so interested in everything he was saying. Book this tour!

Patrick was delightful. He was not only full of information about history, food and culture of Barcelona, but was a genuinely pleasant person to be with while exploring and learning the City's deep and rich history . He frequently shared pieces of information and always wove those pieces back into part of his greater presentation, neatly tying up all loose ends and answering our questions. His enthusiasm and love of the city are apparent and infectious. Having only four days in Barcelona, Patrick provided a depth of information that made us feel that we had been there much longer. He is worth every penny we spent and much more. We highly recommend that you take one of his tours.

This was our absolute favorite of a total of seven tours we took during an 8-day trip to Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Segovia)!! Prior to the tour, it was really easy to communicate with Patrick via the email platform and also via WhatsApp, as his contact info was posted in the tour information. Patrick met us in the Plaça Catalunya, and after introductions and pleasantries, immediately started by giving us historical and political references to the area where we found ourselves. He wove Roman, Medieval, Modern, and current day history together seamlessly as we learned about the sites. Patrick had some really thoughtful interpretations of the meaning of certain monuments and affixes (built into walls, corners, buildings, etc.), which I really appreciated. Patrick was also super engaging and affable - there was not a single minute where I "spaced out" or found my mind wandering. He did an excellent job of providing information in a way that was interesting and digestible for a couple of slightly tired tourists who were near the end of the trip. Having a private tour guide provide us this service for 2+ hours was an excellent value for what we paid! I would HIGHLY recommend booking Patrick for this tour.

Patrick was a wonderful guide. He made a good impression on my son, and he endeared himself to all of us very quickly. The tour was exactly what we wanted. We learned some history, and we saw many sites we would never have seen without him. He showed a genuine desire to enhance our appreciation of Barcelona, and he succeeded.
