A wonderful adventure tour to Machu Picchu along the Inca Jungle Trail.
We had an amazing time on our Inca Jungle Trail expeditions. Vidal and Jose Antonio went above and beyond to make our time on the trek and our visit to Machu Picchu the best it could possibly be.
Day one involved mountain biking and whitewater rafting. Both activities were so much fun (even for me, who has never done these). The bikes were in great condition, and Jose, our guide, supported us the entire experience. We also stayed in some beautiful lodges along the way, where we were treated to amazing food.
Day two involved hiking through the forest and across the side of the mountains with some stunning views. We learned so much about Inca history and local life and tasted incredible jungle fruits as well as coffee. Jose took us to different water falls, where we saw some wildlife of the area, including snakes, frogs, and many birds.
We ended this trip in the hot spring, where we relaxed our tired bodies after hiking for more than 6 hours.
Day three was more relaxed; we enjoyed the zipline on different cables in the valley, followed by a couple hours of hiking along the railway until we reached Aguas Calientes town. Jose explained to us about the area and gave us a chance to see a bit of Machu Picchu.
We were so excited to be close to it.
And the important day comes when we finally arrive at Machu Picchu. It obviously doesn't need to be described how incredible this was.
Honestly, this local company, Vidal Expeditions, adds extra details to make your journey totally different from other operators in Cusco. A small group of maximum eight people allowed us to have more connection with nature, learn more about the area, have more time visiting each place, and don't wait too long during the different activities. Jose Antonio was a super guide who has always been attentive to everyone in the group. The food was the most varied that I have ever tried during any other trip.
I could not recommend this tour more!

We had an incredible experience on the 4 day Inca trail trek. Vidal was an amazing guide and Vicente and his team of cooks and porters made the journey so much more accessible by carrying our gear and cooking our meals. They even provided special attention when I had altitude sickness symptoms for about 24 hours which got me through to the end. Vidal has an amazing depth of knowledge about the trails history, the various sites, and inca culture. This trip was challenging, fun, and rewarding. If I am ever to do another similar trip in South America, I won't call anyone else.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. Vidal and his team are incredible, and I can’t recommend them enough. Bisete was our cook and the meals always left us full and happy. The food tasted incredible, and the scenery of the hikes was beautiful. Vidal seemed to know everything you could ask about the Incan culture, and would always provide us with interesting facts along the way. The service and experience was 10/10 and I’m so happy to have made such great new friends on this journey. Thank you to Vidal and his team for an unforgettable trip.

We had incredible days during the hike to Machu Picchu through the Inca Jungle 4-Day with our guide Junior, we enjoyed the cycling from the high mountain down to the forest thought incredible bus route, we stop a few time to capture the best moments and see how the huge mountains turn in green lush forest.
Whitewater rafting with Juanca was the best, we had some fun while we Raf down in the rapids. This was my first rafting tour in all my entire life :)
Hiking in the forest and visit some local farms and learn their traditions also was great, we got some fresh fruits and prepared our own coffee and chocolate so yummy!!
The views were espectacular from the Inca Trail...We ended up the hike in the thermal baths.
Zipline and Machu Picchu were amazing, stunning views, fantastic history and great guides. We had nice time by exploring those places.
Definitely will back to do again this trip in the future.

I highly recommend this tour! It was a lot of fun and a once in a lifetime experience!
Vidal and Urbano were very helpful and accommodating. Due to unexpected weather conditions, I decided to delay my tour by a day so Vidal organised a day excursion for me to do in the meantime. I was well looked after by Urbano who provided such good service.
To due to my delay and other factors, Vidal arranged for me to join a group who were doing a similar tour to me but with a different tour company - this meant I wasn't doing my tour alone which I really appreciated. This did slightly affect how smooth the tour was run at some points due to differences in activity and accommodation providers, but I was always safe and got the experience I paid for. I think the tour does usually run a lot smoother in normal circumstances.
All the activities were thoroughly enjoyable, even for me as someone who had never done white-water rafting before. I also added Huayna Picchu to my tour which Vidal arranged for me. I'd highly recommend hiking up this small mountain as it's a great way to enjoy views of Machu Picchu and its surroundings in a less crowded environment.
If you're thinking about doing this tour I say go for it! And if you're not sure, I found Vidal to be super helpful and responsive when I contacted them with all my questions.

I did the Inca Jungle to Machu Picchu and honestly the four-day adventure was 5/5 from the booking til the drop off they lookef after us. The guide Jose was very knowledgeable about the circuit in general. The food and accommodation very good and clean. We did raf and zipline which was the highlights of this trip, very professional instructors and safety was the priority.
Thank you very much Vidal Expeditions and your team for the magnificent experience in the Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu.

We have done the Inca Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu for 4 days; it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience from beginning to end.
Mountain biking was awesome—26 miles going down to the forest and some incredible views. Whitewater rafting with some rapids and great instructors
Hiking into the forest, we visited some local families and their lands. After a few hours of hiking, we have reached the hot springs (a great way to relax).
The zipline and the last hike were also fun, and Machu Picchu at the end of the trip is what makes it totally different from other treks.
Overall, the whole trip was a life-changing experience, and Vidal Expeditions is the best team ever along the route.

We have done the Inca Jungle Trail four-day to Machu Picchu with the extra activities included Raf & Zip. Our awesome guide was Chino we been excellent from the beginning to end, even during the extra activities he been with us taking photos, lot of information, very funny and patient, he always look after us during the entire trip.
The food was awesome every day we got different varied and mostly these were fresh veggie ingredients.
The accommodations were great as well, every couple got private room with private bathroom, these were clean and away of the noise village.
Extra activities were really fun we recommend to include on your package although VE they will always include these.
Machu Picchu was very nice, Chino took us super early to avoid the crowds and enjoy Machu Picchu with not many people, this is highly recommend.
Vidal Expeditions organize very well this trip and entire group were happy to have chosen then as our tour operator, very responsible and professional wit their customers.
Thank you Chino for an amazing experience in Peru, we definitely will recommend you and VE.
