If you are in Naples don't miss the chance to visit The Museo di Capodimonte, one of the most important Italian museums; its art collection is made by the Farnese and Borbone collections. The museum preserves also a series of paintings coming from Neapolitan churches, among them two Caravaggio masterpieces.

I returned to this wonderful palace after several years.
The well-kept park, like the museum.
I really appreciated the exhibition choice of the art gallery, just a shame I could not enjoy some rooms closed for work.
Price of the entrance ticket derisory compared to the wonders that this Bourbon jewel allows you to appreciate.

Touch and go on Republic Day with free access to the museum. Caravaggio not received. Route of the art gallery in progress. I had other childhood memories. We still enjoyed walking in the woods and views of the city.

The museum is under renovation but fortunately accessible anyway. Very nice definitely worth it. The immense and well maintained gardens.

Huge collection of beautiful art- with few tourists! Definitely a hidden gem. You could spend half day just touring the art collection, but we were overwhelmed after 2 hours.

They were renovating the site, but they did a great job of moving the artwork to other rooms for viewing. The location of the museum is looks like there can be a lawn partying from the 1880s or Downtown Abby. You can spend hours here. They were nice and allowed us to enter prior to our timed ticket slot.

Many works of art, on a hill in Naples where you can see the entire gulf with the islands. My little opinion of a small palace in Caserta.

Despite the banners everywhere saying it was open during renovations we arrived to find one floor shut because of the renovations and another floor closed as well. We could have visited the one open floor but at a full prices ticket.

Works of art of absolute artistic and historical value, in my opinion unmissable but lighting that absolutely needs to be reviewed because it does not allow you to admire a work of art as you should.
