This full day excursion is a panoramic tour by private vehicle to enjoy the scenic beauty of Maipo Valley and El Yeso Reservoir. The tour consists of proceeding 62 miles (100 km) from Santiago towards the famous Maipo Valley. The road skirts the Maipo River, which accompanies you with a great view over the Andes foothills.

Juan was an amazing guide, and took us up to see the reservoir. There was even the option to rent proper trekking shoes for the walk around the reservoir (due to the snow), and even though the roads were understandably not great for this time of the year, Juan handled them with grace. We were able to try some more traditional sandwiches afterwards for lunch, which were also fantastic!

My group had an amazing time with our tour guide Christian. He was a wealth of knowledge about the region and the country as a whole. The photos do not do the El Yeso Reservoir justice.

We had a great day with Christian venturing up into the Andes mountains. It was just a little taste of the mountains but still great. It was Fall here, so the glacier sites and snow were far in the distance but still impressive. The man made lake was a beautiful green color from the gypsum it covered. It was a windy day, but the sun was out and the mountains shone in all their glory. We stopped at a more protected area (from the wind) near a beautiful waterfall. We had wine and cheeses, crackers and fruit there. The strawberries were amazing! Highly recommend this tour.

This experience was incredible. Christian was the most conscientious and accommodating guide! As I told him when he dropped us off at our hotel at day's end, it was one of the best days of my life. Such amazing - jawdropping - scenery. The drive along the winding roads by the reservoir - stunning! The picnic was delightful and delicious. Cannot recommend enough.

Juan was fantastic, we had an amazing time with him in Maipo Valley. The company organised a fun & informative tour of the area with the highlight a gorgeous hike around the El Yeso lagoon. I would recommend to anyone who is visiting Santiago!

Juan and Jean Pierre worked so well together and made it a memorable day. Was easy to feel comfortable with them from the moment we met them. Maipo Valley and El Yeso Reservoir were beautiful. Throughout the whole day Juan and Jean Pierre shared their knowledge of Chile, so we learned a good deal. They both went above and beyond to make it an awesome day. Interactions like today, with wonderful tour guides makes one want to come back and see more of Chile.
