Custom Private Tours of Sicily

After several trips to Sicily visiting relatives we decided to expose our extended family ( 17 travelers ages 11 to 77 ) to this wonderful island. We contacted Gianca and were immediately impressed with his vigorous exploration of our objectives, expectations and budget. He then prepared a comprehensive plan including transportation, accommodations, tours and airport transfers. After a few tweaks we approved his plan.

About two days into the plan we realized that his plan was a work of art. All drivers and tour guides were professional,and personable., travelers were throughly enjoying the trip. All accommodations exceeded expectations tours were informative appealing to all age groups.. The trip flowed beautifully from Palermo to Ortega with no down time and considering we had 17 travelers visiting several cities the inevitable hiccups were handled by Gianca who was in constant contact with guides and drivers. Additionally he followed up with us daily to insure that all was well.

I was a last-minute, solo traveller to this tour in June, 2024. The name of the tour is Sicily Lovers Tour. It was excellent. The owners of the tour agency, Rosella and Gianca, travelled with us. They were professional, energetic, lively, thorough and delightful. They thought of everything, right down to the limoncello served on the bus. I learned so much abut Sicily and its history, culture and food. My fellow travellers were lovely and I miss them already. I also miss the fabulous meals we ate together in a variety of stunning locations. The hotels and transportation were great. I especially liked the fact that we usually stayed in a city for 2 or 3 nights. This gave us ample free time along with the organized tours and events. Rosella and Gianca have set the bar very high with this wonderful tour. Highly recommended.

I felt like we got to see the very best Sicily had to offer. Our destinations were historical, and so beautiful. Our hosts were amazing and made the trip feel like we were all with family. The guides on the tour were extremely informative, the hotels, magnificent and of course the food is beyond comparison

What can I say? This was our best tour EVER. As typical Sicilians, each one of us on the tour became their family. They chose the greatest hotels and as far as food choices…we couldn't have had better meals. They really made sure we took in every possible way to see and taste the Sicilian culture.
We will talk about our tour for years to come. We have already shared it with everyone we talk to.
If you don’t go in THIS tour (or one from them) you will not really experience the Sicilian way of life.

The trip was seamless. Our days in Sicily were educational, adventurous, and fun. We got to see big highlights, like Mount Etna, while also experiencing some hidden gems. We got to hang out with locals, who were so nice! Wonderful trip for anyone wanting to experience the true Sicily.

This was my second time touring with Gianca and Rosella, and I will go back again.
This trip was so much fun that they even got this old guy up and dancing. Everything was so well organized, the hotels, the transportation, the food, the cooking class, the sites we visited were Amazing.
I say I'll again go back because Gianca was telling me that they are looking into visiting other sites that we didn't get to see on this beautiful island.

Best thing to do in Sicily are an exceptional company to do tours of Sicily. Rosella and Gianca are proud Sicilian with such passion for their island. If you want to experience Sicily, do not, I repeat, do not hesitate to do contact them. My husband and I had a life experience we will never forget. The Best of Sicily organized a fantastic custom tour for our group of 6 from start to finish! All of our drivers were punctual, professional and polite, and the Mercedes van fit our group comfortably.
Gianca and Rosella organized local tour guides in each location who shared their knowledge of Sicily with passion. From the streets of Palermo, mountain top village of Erice, Val di Noto and finally Taormina we definitely saw The Best of Sicily! Each day of our tour brought something special. Our seafood couscous cooking demonstration with wood fired pizza was definitely a highlight given Vito’s amazing home overlooking the sea. The Fiat drive through Modica was a blast and the hill towns of Ragusa and Noto were spectacular.

We loved the Sicily Livers tour it was the best tour we have ever taken! The young couple Gianca and Rosella are the best. They are young energetic, fun, responsible, knowledgeable about Sicily and loving and Kind! Top notch!
