Venice at Sunset: Cicchetti, Food & Wine Tour

Fabulous experience. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the Venetia way and talk to a true Ventian. The tour was fantastic and informative. The food and spirits were great.

Barbara was our guide - lived in Venice all her life and told us about her experiences and connections with the places we visited. The meeting place was easy to find and we started with the best cicchetti in Venice. We learnt about the dishes and the different types of spritz. Instead of Aperol we opted to try Select which is my new fave. At other stops we had Prosecco, generous cheese & charcuterie platter, and smooth local red wine with fried cicchetti. Then we had a pasta main course - I tried the black ink cuttle fish which I hadn’t had before and it was so tender. It was all very filling and I wished I’d had a bit less of the earlier temptations! To finish we had a delicious indulgent dessert on the waterfront looking over to Giudecca. Barbara was warm and friendly - she really made the evening interesting and hit the right balance for us. It was also so interesting to meet the others in our group

A fun tour that showed us some of the more local dining options. Some of the less adventurous folks were less enthusiastic about some of the fish/seafood options, but if you’re a little bit of an adventurous eater, then you won’t be disappointed. Our guide was great and offered fun commentary throughout the tour. It was nice to get off the beaten path a bit and see more of the local food scene too. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. We saw places we probably won’t have found our own. Our tour guide was perfect! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was so delicious! Highly recommend!

Paula was kind and informative. This tour stood out for having an intimate group which made it easier to mingle. Paula was prepared to answer various questions, and of course the foods and wine was great! Even the items we were nervous to try… were delicious!

We had a lovely tour (us plus one other couple) on this tour. We saw 3 local restaurants we would've never picked out on our own that were authentic and fantastic. We learned much about apertivo, wine and cuisine within Venice. Then with dinner and the best dessert we found on the island, this trip was a must do!

Really enjoyed this food tour. Nice relaxed vibe. Sat down at every restaurant for tasting and drink. Our guide was very knowledgeable and affable. Come hungry because you will eat a lot of good food.

We had an incredible tour with an incredible tour guide Daria. She was a Venice local and provided much history as we walked and ate and drank an ample amount. Would highly recommend this experience.

Paola was an amazing guide who gave so many tastes of Venice that I would have never experienced on my own! We tried new foods and drinks that we had never even heard of, and will now be looking for in future travels. Thank you so much for sharing the food, the history, ans the culture.
