My wife and I set out on a dream vacation to Europe. Our final 2 weeks were spent in Barcelona. Through our travel agent, we had randomly selected a vineyard tour on horseback followed by a winery tour and wine tasting with Barcelona By Road. Our driver, Marc, picked us up from our hotel near Placa de Catalunya promptly on schedule. He proceeded to drive us out into wine country. Along the way, he pointed out various points of interest and explained their significance in history or culture. He was a very engaging and infectous conversationalist and we could sense the deep pride he has for his country.
While my wife and I rode horses through the vineyard, Marc waited patiently in the stable picnic area for us to return and then we all enjoyed a light snack and drink before proceeding to the winery. After the tour, we enjoyed a tasting and finally lunch before heading back to Barcelona.

Highly recommend to book a tour with Marc. This was by far the best activity we have done in the Barcelona area. Marc organized a Horseback riding tour and a vinary tour including local sourced lunch, which was absolutely fantastic. Marc took amazing care of us and we could sit back and relax the whole time.

Horseback raising was amazing, beautiful and the guide was really helpful. Adapted to all levels of ability. Laia, the winery and tapas guide was the best! So kind, helpful and full of knowledge. We really enjoyed this visit!

This horseback ride and wine tasting tour was a present for my husband’s birthday and we both absolutely loved it!
Marc was great and very helpful since day one when i contacted him to get some extra information. He picked us from the house and drove us all the way to the Penedes wine region where we did our horse riding in the country - beautiful - and then wine tasting at a lovely ecologic winery nearby. The wine guide was amazing too, we just walked around the vineyards drinking wine and talking about wine. A simple catalán lunch was served for us in a gorgeous setting in a beautiful garden overlooking the vineyards. We wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you ❤️
