It was a neat aquarium and had a lot of exhibits but it was not any better than the other aquariums I have been to. If you have been to an aquarium then you probably have seen everything they had.

We went in December of 2022, the website will not let me select that. But it was fun, loved the show of the seal doing tricks. It was hilarious, we got to also see a mini movie about “Little Foot.” Also they had interactive games and shows about littering. It was overall a good experience and was cheap as well.

My kids had a great time seeing the seals,sharks and walrus and my daughter love jellyfish so she loved that part the most

Staff was friendly and informative. Animals were amazing. We had a great time. Just wish wheelchairs were available.

This was my first visit to the New York Aquarium. Even though I qualified for the senior rate I dound it to be quite an expensive activity. It is a short 5 minutes walk from the closest subway station and I felt that 90 minutes was about right to enjoy a visit.
There was lots of information alongside the various exhibits and it was easy to learn about the work and growth of the venue. The glass tunnell was perhaps the most inspiring feature and there was a very side range of exhibits. Outside there were enclosures that housed penguins, seals and sea otters and it was easy to move about at your own pace.
The aquarium provides easy access to the Coney Island boardwalk and it is easy to combine a visit to both.

My kids loved the aquarium and it has interesting sea lion show. Sharks were looking good and it was nice experience in New York.

Great little aquarium. Not huge but we are glad we took the 1 hour subway to get to it. Conveniently on the Coney Island Boardwalk

The aquarium was great and the access to the board walk was pretty cool, but I recommend parking outside. The parking for the Aquarium is a scam.

I didn’t see the octopus or the seal my daughter and I was so excited about them and we didn’t get a chance to see them
