Not what I expected. The bone chapel was not as described or pictured . The catacombs were interesting but not what I expected either. The tour guide was sweet but the tour itself was rather boring.

Meryl was an excellent guide. She gave an alternative view on Rome which we loved. Thoroughly recommend this tour with Meryl.

Meryl was a wonderful guide. We went through a small church dedicated to clearing the ancient streets of the poor who died. Then we went to the St. Sebastian catacombs. Not for the claustrophobic! Finished touring the church above where Bernini’s last statue is found. Great tour!

Sylvia was an excellent tour guide. Gave lots of historical information about the crypts/catacombs as well as the history of Rome. In addition great food recommendations for around the area.

We really enjoyed this tour. It was very informative and we learned many things we did not know before. It would have been nice to spend a bit more time at each location, but the tour was still good. Our guides and bus driver were great!

Creepy but very cool. I enjoyed the crypts tour, very interesting! While I didn’t enjoy the bones chapel, I simply rushed through while my husband and son took their time. They loved it all. Great guide, very friendly and welcoming to all.

For me, this was incredibly disappointing. The pictures on this website are a complete misrepresentation of the tour. First, you will see one cross made of skulls and chandeliers made of other bones. You will not see the wall of bones like shown here. This website also shows someone taking pictures in the catacombs, which is strictly forbidden. I'm not exactly sure why, as they wouldn't be great pictures anyway, you're basically just walking down a dark tunnel for a few minutes and as I understood it, the bones had been removed anyway. Other than that, you'll see some churches and the end. Don't waste your time, there are too many other great things to see and do in Rome and this isn't one of them.
