Explore Florentine art and architecture on a tour that gets you past the typical long lines at the Accademia Gallery and the Duomo. You'll breeze past the long line to marvel at Michelangelo’s statue of David, granting you incredible insight into the mind of a master. After, you’ll stop at Piazza del Duomo outside the Baptistery and check out the incredible bronze-cast doors by Lorenzo Ghiberti, coined the "Gates of Paradise" by Michelangelo. Continue on to the jewel of Florence, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with a special skip-the-line entrance up to the terraces—an exclusive space rarely visited by the general public. You’re welcome to continue your journey up to the top of Florence by climbing to the top of the dome to soak up even more spectacular views of the city. With all entrance fees included, an expert guide, and a small group of just 18 guests max for a more intimate experience, there’s no better way to see Florence’s top attractions.

I loved this tour! Our guide, Elanora, was very knowledgeable and an absolute delight. David was amazing and share shared so much information that I didn’t know last time I saw it. The walk up to the Domo was stunning.

Overall great tour! We especially enjoyed getting to see David early in the morning before it was too crowded. Our only critique is that the price we paid felt a bit high relative to what we received. Also note that the (optional and unguided) Duomo climb was rather claustrophobic with tight stairways and lots of waiting in very skinny hallways. The view from the top was nice, but not substantially better than the view from the (much easier to reach) terrace, which we climbed up to with our guide. Consider skipping the full climb to the top if you don’t like heights or tight and enclosed spaces.

The guide was very good and provided history for us. She was very patient with people that clearly didn’t read the rules of the tour and give her credit for her patience.
I would recommend the tour as it was just the right amount of time and history for the price.

Lot of details about the David. The guide was a little awkward but passionate and knowledgeable. The view from the Dome is breathtaking ( in more ways than one-470ish steps). Great tour. The skip the line- definitely worth it.

Matt was an excellent guide and kept the tour moving at a good pace. His knowledge about not just the artifacts but Florence overall made the entire experience so great.

Had a great time. Don’t take a backpack to the Duomo, but our guide handled it and the Duomo people helped. Very well run
