We loved the tour and Maria was a fantastic guide! We were first in line to enter the palace so enjoyed having less people there. The palace was beautiful and Maria did an excellent job of explaining the purposes of each room! We had a nice break in the middle and enjoyed churros and chocolate. The walk to the Prado Museum was nice. Maria walked us through the Prado Museum for about 1 1/2 hrs to highlight some of the most popular paintings and artists. When the tour ended, we could stay in the Museum to see the rest. We highly recommend this tour as long as you are able to walk around for 5 hours.

Hello,
I am now back in town - can you please provide me with a top supervisor's phone number - if a full refund cannot be granted? 15% offered is unacceptable.
I am about to go to the media as well as leave multiple reviews across all platforms if we are not compensated fairly for the unprofessional services exhibited by Viator and the tour company in this entire ordeal.
We called Viator over 15 times while we were left stranded in Madrid helpless with no one to help us. No one got back to me or followed up once after we have spent thousands of dollars with Viator and when we are wronged to do nothing despite being a loyal customer - the tour guide was a few feet away from us and did not wait for us and walked away and left us stranded in a foreign country and city and what we paid for was not honored along with the complete inconvenience / stress we endured.
Please escalate this to your top supervisor and provide us a contact number before we leave all of our reviews with subsequent proof and screenshots of how we were wronged here. I will wait till tomorrow.

Our guide David was beyond an expert! He led the group with great skill with carefully chosen stories of the history of Spain and Madrid, weaving it all together between the Royal Palace and pieces at the Prado. I was moved! Amazing.

Loved this tour! Starting at the palace with an overview of Spanish monarchy history was a perfect framing for the companion Prado tour. Our guide Sean was interesting and kept the group moving and energetic.

Tuesday We bought the tour to see the palace on Thursday. At the meeting place of the tour, the guide advised that the palace was closed because of an event the previous day. We were never told anything before that. So we were not given the option to reschedule or cancel. Our guide Carmen was great. She made the best of the situation, but I do blame the company for deception. I don’t believe it was a surprise the palace was closed. I think the tour company knew this, but took our money anyways. So I give 3 stars because of Carmen. But I give the company 0 stars for lack of communication. We still have not been contacted about this by Viator, until I received this email about this review. I would expect better communication for the price we paid. Viator is far from the cheapest tour there is.

David was an excellent guide. He paced the tour very well, provided great information, and gave us moments to absorb it all. We had a rain storm during our tour, and David expertly pivoted, changing up the normal order of the tour to keep us all dry. We 100% recommend this tour company and David.
