Where to begin? A great host, who taught us so much and was happy to answer our many questions. A great group, there were only three of us on the tour that day, so it was pretty darn private. It was also a quieter day in Arashiyama, so that was a perk we couldn't have planned for. The big highlights for me were seeing the bamboo forest, going beyond the the forest into a secluded garden, and climbing up to Monkey Park which was difficult in the moment but super rewarding at the top. Thanks for the great tour, Art! (I'm assuming it's time call you that, since we're now friends)

We really appreciate the excellent communication and staff at this tour company. Arashiyama is beautiful and this tour covers all the highlights. Our wonderful tour guide, Art, gave us an appreciation of the history as we walked through the bamboo forest, wandered through a tranquil garden, and visited a temple. Seeing the monkeys at the end of the day was our favorite part of this tour. The park has a good set up that allows you to go into a house that has a cage for windows that you can safely feed the monkeys through. The monkeys take the treats gently. Then you can go back outside to wander freely with the monkeys.

My wife and I really enjoyed our Kyoto: Arashiyama Bamboo, Temple, Matcha, Monkeys & Secrets tour. Agustin was an excellent tour guide and he shared his extensive knowledge with us throughout the day as we explored the Bamboo forest, the Okochi Sanso Garden, the Tenryuji Temple and the Monkey Park. He gave us great recommendations for food to sample during the tour and even took the time to ensure that we got on the right train at the end of the tour so that we could continue our adventure in Kyoto.

Mr. Toru (sp?) was our guide and he was fantastic. It was pouring down rain and he took us to all of the beautiful places. He was kind, funny, and knowledge. The rain made it kind of magical! 100% recommend!

Remi was a fantastic guide! Extremely knowledgeable about Japanese culture, language and history. Took us to all the best secret spots that only locals know, and kept us entertained with humor and personal stories of his life after moving to Japan. Also gave us great recommendations for shops, restaurants and activities in Kyoto. We wouldn’t have had the same experience without him!

Remy was an awesome tour guide ! He was very informative and took his time explaining the significance of all the stops we went to. I’d highly recommend going on a tour with him as it would have been incredibly overwhelming to navigate all the spots solo! Top experience of the trip!

I loved our tour with Todi ( I can’t remember how to spell his name sorry) He was very friendly and took his time to answer all our questions. He was extremely knowledgeable about our surroundings and places that he took us too. This trip is worth it ☺️

We had the chance to spend this day with Rémi from Japan Tour.
The visit was absolutely incredible, every anecdote and story was perfectly told and completely appropriate for my children who were fascinated.
Rémi even helped us book our return Shinkansen. And gave us lots of advice. We are far from the level of other agencies and guides with whom we dealt during our stay.
I recommend ++++++
