Trogir, Salona and fortress Klis tour

Split was one of our favorite places to visit because, despite being a port city, once out of the harbor there weren't tons of people. The city was very green and lush, not packed and dry like several of the places we visited. Klis Fortress was a lot of fun, because we could walk all over it, which was much different than many of the ruins where you aren't allowed to actually go near or touch them.
We were meant to go to Salona, Trogir and Klis, however our driver took us to an olive oil museum instead of Salona. It was an interesting visit, but I don't think my kids cared for it and I would never have chosen that for my family. I think that Salona would have been a better choice, and where we were supposed to go.

This was a fabulous tour. Our driver was great and even added in an unexpected trip to a place that makes their own olive oil and olive-based products. We found this to be a great addition to this tour. It was fascinating to learn about olive oil and we now know how to tell if olive oil is truly EVOO!!! Walking around Split was so interesting and our visit to Trogir was amazing. We enjoyed Trogir a lot and would have loved more time there. We spent so much time there that we ran out of time to go to Salona. Perhaps next time!!

We had a great private tour with Tom. He was punctual, courteous, friendly, thoughtful and informative. At each stop, he gave us as much time as we needed, never rushing us, and answered all our questions. Thank you for a great tour, Tom!

The driver was NOT a guide, the driver did NOT speak English. The ads for this were false and inaccurate. No water, no Wifi, no English, No guide. I WILL REPORT THIS TO VIATOR WHEN I GET BACK!

Pick up from hotel on time, great guide in Tom gave us as much time as we wanted at each stop. Tom was very friendly, informative and answered all our questions. Thank you for a great tour.

We wanted to go to all three locations on a cloudy, windy day and we were aware that this is a transportation service and not a guided tour. Our driver was wonderful but he didn’t speak much English so he couldn’t provide any information about the sights we were seeing. Make sure to read up on the places before going.

What made our day was our guide Tom. His car was excellent, nothing was ever a problem, we were able to take our time and he answered a lot of questions. Finished up Ff with a fantastic impromptu lunch at a local restaurant the trip was fantastic

1st part of the trip took us to Klis fortress really worth seeing plenty of photographic opportunities plus the surrounding view is amazing next on to the Solin Amphitheatre such a wonderful place to spend 30 or 40 minutes wandering around using ones camera & imagination .last stop Trogir its beautiful walled city & castle & its many points of interest and fantastic scenery .... Great Adventure Excellent Driver & Guide

What a great half day tour. We had plenty of time to explore Klis and check out the amphitheater. Then the short drive to Trogir was very scenic and our time there was perfect. What a beautiful turn on the water. Dani was our host and he was very entertaining and helpful. Would recommend this tour
