Like Ralph Waldo Emerson once said. Do not go where the path may lead.
Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
Agenda is as simple as 2 + 2 first we’ll warm up hiking to our farthest destination, before descending into each cave we start with stretching, then exploration time and be ready for some squats, push-ups and more stretching ! More effort you put into these exercises more you’ll see and oh boy take our word for it, there is plenty to see ! Depending on your fit level we’ll see anywhere between 2 to 4 caves. So you’ll get some cardio/ work out day for sure.
We do caving often and we know there is nothing better than warm bath after half a day spent underground in humid and cool environment but than again bath sounds sooo boring. Unless you are in Iceland where you can just simply submerge yourself in a natural hot geothermal stream... Found in a beautiful valley up in the mountains, enjoining tasty Icelandic style hot dog prepared with a help of hot springs!

This is a very unique experience as it is a private tour, and our guide Damian was incredible! He takes you to various caves and shares his knowledge of the rock formations and geological sites as you crawl through and climb over rocks and passages. Afterwards, we drove to a remote are where we hiked to a scenic geothermal river to bathe, and then had a lunch of Icelandic hot dogs which he cooked for us in the hot springs! This was a very physical experience, but Damian will go at a pace that is comfortable for each participant. Be prepared for a fun filled day as well as a workout!

Only in Iceland for 4 nights, so spent a long time looking for tours which combined things we specifically wanted to do. Stumbled upon G spot Iceland, and how glad am I we did.
The tour we picked was caving & the hot springs in the mountains (Hot and Cold G spots challenge).
We never look for 'personal/non-touristy' tours, as they are hard to find and mostly very expensive.
Well, this is what we got, and for a great price!
Only the two of us on this particular tour (although they cater for more), with two guides.
Took a punt with the caving, and instead of doing the caves with queues of tourists queuing to get in, we went to some caves where no tourists ever go.
When we arrived (in very snowy and windy conditions), every cave entrance was buried in several meters of snow.
This, however, would not prevent our guides from digging through several meters of snow and ice to gain entrance to one of the caves!
Cave was amazing with several chambers linked via small crawl-throughs (no-one else was in the whole region, and definitely not in the cave) , and more than worth the effort to get in.
Next was the hike to the hot springs in the mountains.
It's a long trek, but well worth arriving at this natural phenomenon, and taking a dip in the hot spring surrounded by snow was a little surreal.
Cooking hot dogs in a thermal pool finished the day, and returned back to the hotel shattered after a long 10 hour day!
The guides aren't your traditional tour guides, they are cavers who have turned their passion into a tour - these guys are incredibly knowledgeable about all things 'caving & geothermal', and always considered safety a priority during the caving.
If you want to do the generic tourist route, where you will be surrounded by other tourists trying to get a good shot, then these guys probably aren't for you - stick with the 'BudgetIceland' type tour company.
If, however, you want to go off the beaten track, and really get a sense of what Iceland is really about, then 'G spot Iceland' are the tour guides for you (I say 'tour guides', it really didn't feel like that, it felt more like hanging out with a couple of buddies and letting them show you what they love - Iceland).
