Pay to skip the lines and try to go early. Gets crowded as day goes on. The actual tour company was Crown Tours. Very well organized. Informative.

Our guide Claudia from Crown Tours was organized and very informative with historical facts and funny sidebar insights. It was an easy access in and through the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and San Pietro’s Catedral. Highly recommend it.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The pace was good for every age. There was ample free time at the end to explore on our own. The museum was fascinating and there were so many well preserved artifacts. The company was well organized.

Our guide did not speak clearly in English.

Our guide spent considerable time describing sculptures in the Museum, but said nothing about the magnificent paintings by Rubens and Caravaggio.

Our guide rushed through the Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica, and made very few comments at both places.

Our tour guide was not very good. She kept on instilling her own feelings about what we were seeing and not giving enough information on what we were viewing. The group felt like we were almost better off without a tour guide. She even made us pose a certain way for a group picture so she could put it on her instagram account. We came upon a poster that was showing the pictures we would see on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Our guide proceeded to tell 2 of the children in our group to go away as there was a naked picture. We all found that to be up to the parents and not the guide to tell them to go away. It was very inappropriate for her to speak to the 11 year olds as she did. I can't even give you her name unfortunately as she said it so fast and didn't like repeating. Very disappointing tour because our guide was not very good.

What a beautiful experience (minus the crowds). Our tour guide was so well-informed. She knew everything and filled us in on so many things we would have never known. Be aware that the walk through the Sisten Chapel and Vatican museums are a bit rushed as the Vatican officials push people through quickly but our guide did her best to give us time to view all the artwork etc. St Peter's was the best lots of time and space so crowds less impactful. Great day however!
