If you want to explore Bogotá, its history and culture, Hansa Tours is the best option! We got to know the museum of gold and the museum of Botero at the MAMU. In the meanwhile, we explored the streets of La Candelaria, its architecture and history. We also went to places and restaurants where we could taste the flavours and gastronomy of the city! Besides, the tour guide Bairon was really nice, he took his time to explain relevant information about Bogotá and was attentive to the tourist so the experience was enjoyable.

We traveled from Guayaquil to Bogota because my father will undergo surgery this week in a clinic here. Taking advantage of the time, I contacted the agency and explained the situation and they tried to have a wheelchair for their use. In addition, our guide Sebastián Huérfano was always making sure that he did not trip and that he felt good and not exhausted.
I have made some excursions in different countries but I must admit that on this occasion we had a guide who knew what he was talking about, very patient, knowledgeable about various topics and very respectful all the time.
Sebas, thank you for showing us La Candelaria and all its corners, the museums and the other places with so much professionalism!

If you’re looking to explore Bogota in style, look no further than this private tour service! My adventure started with a seamless door-to-door service in a pristine, private vehicle that was cleaner than mine after a detail service. The driver was not just punctual but also a master of smooth driving in Bogota’s lively traffic—think James Bond minus the high-speed chases. Safety first.
I only had half a day available for "free" time and was grateful to stumble on this tour. Since the others I saw were 6+ hours and I just didn't have that type of time.
My personal tour guide Yuliana was the epitome of professionalism and friendliness, with the kind of enthusiasm that could make even a tax seminar exciting. Before she arrived (btw- she literally picked me up from my hotel lobby and told the front desk who she was and how long we would be gone). She asked me what I wanted to see. We kicked off our journey in La Candelaria, the historic heart of Bogota. As we strolled through its vibrant streets, Yuli (cause we are besties now), shared fascinating stories and pointed out hidden gems with the precision of a GPS and the charm of a local friend. She speaks perfect English and let me get my Spanish speaking on too. While in La Candelaria area we stumbled on a wedding. It was the best!! I know I was a total tourista but some how I didn't feel like it at all. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. We went to a local market and there was sooo much fresh produce. I tried soursop for the first time. I was soo sweet!!!
We visited the Museo del Oro. Who knew gold could be so interesting? Yuli's knowledge made the museum’s exhibits sparkle even brighter. I noticed other English speakers standing near us to hear explain the exhibits. I learned about ancient treasures, burial rituals and the great connection between the indigenous people to the land and the gold they wore. To be honest by the end of the tour, I was ready to start panning for gold myself.
The highlight of my tour was a Colombian chocolate experience (at my request, Yuli found this for me), which was every bit as delicious as it sounds. The aroma of cocoa was intoxicating, and the worker's insights into the chocolate-making process were both educational and mouth-watering. I paid extra at the store to do a chocolate tasting of about 8 different varieties. Let’s just say I was on cloud 9 and I can neither confirm nor deny I may have a serious chocolate addiction.
In summary, this tour was an absolute delight from start to finish. Professional, friendly service with a personal touch made all the difference. If you’re visiting Bogota, this tour is a must-do. Highly recommended! Ask for Yuli a.k.a Yuliana!!!

The city guide Maria was great, she was able to answer all of our questions and knows her city very well, feels what we want to see and she speaks English very well. You can't find guides like this everywhere

Sebastian gave us a great tour! As we ascended the mountain we got to stop and take great pictures of the city of Bogota. What a great view!! Wow!
We then stopped and ate fruit and a few of us ate tacos next door. They were delicious. Al pastor and chicken were very good.
Once we reached the main area Sebastian had a wealth of knowledge about the buildings, history and social aspects.
The day was very good and lots of beautiful colors and trinkets!
I don’t think this would be much fun for kids because it’s shopping and sampling food/drinks.

We arranged a tour from today to tomorrow in Bogotá, it was convenient to coordinate, and everything was perfectly timed. Our guide Esteban was amazing, full of knowledge and stories about the city, the guide was local information and with a great desire to explain about the sites and about Bogota in general, Esteban is simply amazing and of course the smiling and pleasant driver who accompanied us the whole tour. Bravo

I chose Hansa Tours for planning a 3-day itinerary around Colombia with my base in Bogota: a coffee plantation tour, a tour of La Candelaria and a tour of the Zipaquira salt mines. I was a little nervous going into it as a solo female traveler for the first time (I accompanied my spouse on his business trip), but booking Hansa Tours was a great experience from beginning to end. I had Maria as a guide for 1 day and Esteban for 2. They were both great and Esteban in particular was super flexible and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Bogota. Not only did I see a lot but I learned a lot, which is always my favorite part of traveling. The experience overall made me feel safe and provided the exact tour experience I expected, and then some! It was a great experience! We were able to go to Monserrate and the Candelaria. We tried local juice spot and even got to do some shopping. Our tour guide was very friendly and accommodating with the sites we wanted to see. He shared great information and was super thoughtful. Overall it was a great tour! I totally recommend it 👍🏼🫶🏼

I really liked the service, having a personalized transfer and a person explaining it to you was the best. Very good comments about the history, the typical things to try (drinks, food) and the bonus of supporting me with the photos. Totally recommended.
