We leave the place you stay to Indonesia miniature park of Indonesia normally 45 minutes until 1 hour, then we will spend time in go around the area, inside of miniature park you can see a lot of Indonesia pavilions in total provinces is 34 right now with different houses and Its culture, sometimes there are a lot of festival, event and gathering from inter-island which you Will see in this park within 1 hour or less. After that we drive to central Jakarta visiting museum, Chinatown and old town.

This museum concentrates on the art and culture of various ethnic groups that inhabit the archipelago and form the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia. This museum has a Balinese architectural style and is decorated with various fine and beautiful Balinese carvings and statues. This museum holds a collection of various arts, crafts, traditional and contemporary clothing from various regions in Indonesia. In third level of museum as a place of introducing Indonesian New Capital (IKN) concept and guide bring to explain those. After explore the museum and miniature park we proceed you to north passing by Central Jakarta.

Driving to the Old town by passing Chinatown in 30 minutes and you will see traditional market with a lot of local things. This market is a largest in city and also call Pecinan area in Petak 9.

After arriving the Old town Batavia Jakarta, we snap or take some picture of the main canal and old building along like you are in Amsterdam, see the historical building of the neo - gothic or European chinese style, and as a Dutch city hall called Batavia or fatahillah garden. Then drive the last program to Old harbour.

Ferdie was a fantastic guide. I had to make last-minute arrangements for a tour of Jakarta and Ferdie was so responsive and easy to reach and we were able set it up for the next day. We started off at the national Museum, which gave me a wonderful overview of Indonesia as a whole, and some wonderful art, fabrics, masks, carvings, huge statues, costumes. Ferdie was able to answer my questions in English. Next we took the sky tram around the grounds which showed different style homes, well almost palaces, from around the country. A highlight for me was a stop at a famous 19th C café whose name I’ve forgotten. We also toured Chinatown, which I could have done without. Ferdie was so accommodating and sweet, ready to cater to my interests. Enjoyed my day in Jakarta very much.

There were a lot of activities during this tour, and I enjoyed going around different cultural and historical spots in Jakarta. Pak Saleh, my guide, and Pak Elun, my driver for the tour, were very accommodating. Pak Saleh always made an effort to answer my questions during the tour, and I am happy I was able to get some oleh-oleh (souvenirs) and martabak manis (sweet pancake) after the tour.

I highly recommend going on this trip in the morning so that you can explore spots while they’re still open and avoid traffic. I missed a few spots because it was already really late, and I booked my trip at 12:30 pm. Also, check the weather before you leave because the weather is quite unexpected this time of the year in Jakarta (May to June).

Overall, wonderful experience! Definitely maximize the experience by asking lots of questions and staying curious.

China Town was not worth it , could have gone to the National Monument more closer.

Five 5 Star to the Guide and the driver , learning about Indonesia very nice and fascinating country , will visit again and explore

Overall satisfactory but for this time the cost seems not fair comparing to other trip...

I have lived in Indonesia for 18 months now and have never had the chance to go anywhere. This was a perfect tour with just the right amount of personal time. Ferdy the guide was very informative. He spoke great English and the places to visit was perfect. I didn't care to go to Mosques or see other places but what we saw waa Chinatown, old Jakarta, we ate lunch at Cafe Batavia and Mini Indonesia. We really enjoyed ourselves and got information that we didn't know. Thank you Ferdy!

Excellent friendly guide (Ferdy). He went out of the way to make my tour memorable. He extended thoughtful gestures such as picking me at a different location, taking all my pictures etc…
The miniature park tour was quite interesting. Twas so fascinating to see such a rich culture in one place.

The best part is that Tripedia Tour operator Ferdy confirmed our reservation immediately after I booked this tour. This is the only one that responded out of the 4 tour operators I booked privately in conjunction with our Indonesian cruise. The others I have to track down to make sure they meet us at the correct cruise port at the specified time. They commonly use WhatsApp in Indonesia. On 11/27/24 Ferdy’s tour partner Ms. Dewi carrying a sign with my name, met us at Tanjung Priuk Cruise port. BTW, there is an ATM at the cruise port, but you need to go out the door and turn left (see photo). We proceeded to the miniature park and visited a couple of houses riding the park’s vehicle. We don’t have time to explore the whole park, but the places we stopped at is representative of what to expect at the other houses.. only of different design. If you go up the tower, you can see a miniature map of Indonesia set on water. Included is lunch at Simpang Raya for a variety of Indinesian food (see photo). The meal is filling although you have to acquire the taste to fit your palate. With limited time, we visited the Muslim Isriqlal Mosque and Jakarta Cathedral across the street. We saw the blue colored three wheeler public transportation vehicle called Bajaj, only found in Jakarta. A short stop by the Jakarta history museum (Fatahilla museum), which we didn’t go inside but had a refreshing mango juice in the store of the building. Lastly was the old harbour where we saw old dilapidated boats that transports goods between the islands in Indonesia. Port laborers transfer the loads lifting them on their shoulders. Truly back breaking manual labor! Overall, this tour is worth the price we paid for the 6 of us.

The tour tells a story of Indonesia culture, I love it. I would recommend this awesome tour in describing the culture and their replica's houses with art. No wonder so many people amazed to that place. I have 3 days in Jakarta but full enough exploring it in helping. Either the guide, driver or staff are good communicative.

It was an incredible experience to visit the park and see the beauty and diversity of the Indonesian architecture, all in the same place. Ferdy was our fantastic guide. Besides his considerable knowledge, his kindness and attentiveness were next level. My husband and I had a lovely time, and we highly recommend Ferdy as a guide.
