This is the best city tour of Rio de Janeiro, which covers as the main and most famous sights of the city. As you decide for my services as your tour guide in Rio de Janeiro, you can book up 1 half-day tour at 5hours that will cover the main attractions of Rio de Janeiro. This attraction is christ Redmeer statue. Recently elected one of the 7 new wonders of the world, Christ the Redeemer statue is Rio’s most visited monument, situated at 710 meters (2,329 feet) above sea level on the top of Corcovado Mountain. From there one can have a 360-degree view of Rio de Janeiro. Approx. time required to visit Corcovado: 2 hours (car ride + minibus shuttle + visiting it). Admission fee: 41 reais (approx. US$ 14; 13 €; 10 £). It is important to know that this tour starts at 7:20am to avoid lines at Christ Redmeer. This particular tours are totally private. Once you book it, it will be only you and your travelling companions.

One of the best places to see the wonderful view of guanabara bay and downtown areas. Sugar Loaf is Rio’s second most visited monument. It is a 396-meter (1,299 feet) high one-block stone from where you can have a panoramic view over Copacabana, Leme, Botafogo and Flamengo beaches besides downtown, Rio-Niterói bridge, Guanabara Bay as well as others highlights of Rio de Janeiro. You have to include it in your private tour of Rio! Approx. time required to visit it: 2 hours (car ride to get there + 4 smooth 3-minute rides on cable cars + visiting it). Admission fee: 110 reais (approx. US$ 25; 23 €; 19 £). This particular tours are totally private. Once you book it, it will be only you and your travelling companions.

We only had one full-day in Rio, and choosing to spend it with Ederson ended up being a great decision!

He was flexible with the schedule to work around shifting clouds/weather through out the day, is a wonderful photographer, and does everything in his power to ensure you get a full Rio experience.

If you only have one day or limited time in Rio, we highly recommend this tour to maximize your time!

We truly enjoyed our private tour with Ederson! We got to explore Christ the Redeemer, sugar loaf mountain, escadaria selaron, Rio de Janeiro Cathedral, Santa teresa, and maracana. The tour surpassed our expectations with soo much to see in a timely fashion.
We also appreciated how accommodating Ederson was and for all the amazing pictures he took of us! We recommend this tour to anyone looking for a personalized experience with an attentive tour guide!

Excellent experience of Rio in a day trip with Ederson. He picked up sharp on time ! We was able to skip all lines with priority pass.

He also takes amazing pictures so make sure you take him up on the offer when he asks you if you want a picture.

Great knowledge of the city and its history.

Also please ask him to take you to his local cafe for coffee and sandwich it’s a very rustic place where locals go and the food is amazing.

Once again I would like to thank Ederson for a great day in Rio !

My daughter and I had a wonderful day exploring Rio, courtesy of Ederson and Trip in Rio Tours! Ederson was very helpful, very knowledgeable, flexible, and professional. With his guidance, we were able to customize our day, and focus on the sites and areas of the City that suited us. He definitely knows the best spots for photos, and he helped us capture those photo opportunities thanks to his great eye!

Marcio was an amazing guide for our private tour. He was knowledgeable, helpful and very professional. My husband has mobility issues and Marcio took extra care to make sure that he was well accommodated. We really enjoyed our time with him. We visited the top 3 attractions and the cool arty neighborhoods. I really feel we covered all the key sites in the city. When I told him I wanted to get some Brazilian coffee, he took us to a cute little out of the way shop frequented by locals where I could pick out exactly what I wanted. Overall, I would highly recommend Marcio and this tour company.
