Marvel at the wonder of these mountains, and the stunning history of the area.
First, meet at a bar in the city centre, where you are able to purchase a relaxing breakfast or coffee before we head out. Then after a bus ride up to the bottom of the mountain, we continue up the beautiful mountain roads, all the way up to the magnificent Montserrat Monastery.
Enjoy many photo opportunities as you gaze at the beauty of the mountain, before having a history tour of the monastery level. After, there is free time to either go hiking in the magical hills, enjoy an all you can eat lunch looking out over mystical views, or explore the museum and discover all about the history of this famous landmark.
Then it is back on the bus as we head back to Barcelona where you can experience an evening in the city.
Please note that tickets to Basilica, Throne Room & Choir are not included! Yet we heavily insist on buying ticket to these in advance for anyone wanting them

This is the perfect tour if you want to spend a day adventuring on ur own in beautiful mountains of Montserrat. The bus transfer was on time and very convenient, some explanation of the history on the way up and the real highlight is u and nature once u arrive to Montserrat it is just breathtaking. There are many options if u don’t want to hike for a couple hours you can always take the cable car or just stay and visit the main sites. My partner and I really enjoyed this tour.

Francesco was such a great guide. He was very informative and helpful. I wish there was more time because there were so much to explore. Overall, it was a great experience and the tour guide was really awesome! If you get this tour it would be very helpful if you get a guide like ours.

We had an unforgettable experience at Montserrat! Photos don’t give justice to the ethereal beauty of the Lady of Montserrat, nor to the visual art of ridiculously green serrated mountains that surround the monastery! We didn’t do the hike, we opted to enjoy the views of the Basilica and Sanctuary. It is a great fortune to witness the angelic voices of the Escholania Boys Choir!
Although it wasn’t enough that they sang only 3 times, their performance was extraordinary and memorable!
Definitely this tour was exceptional with the help of a great leader like Mark, highly recommended!

Very well organized trip. We stopped in couple places to visit on our way. The tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. It is worth it to know to buy your tickets ahead of time especially if you want to see boys choir. I give 5 stars to our guide Ewan. Thanks for this awesome experience
