Our Golden Circle & Northern Lights Tour from Reykjavik allows you to fit two uniquely Icelandic experiences in one bumper tour.
Start the day with our fantastic tour featuring the natural highlights of the Golden Circle, Iceland´s most famous tourist trail. Highlights include the winding path between the continental plates at Thingvellir National Park as well as the world renowned Geysir where Strokkur erupts every 5 to minutes.
After a full day spent exploring those and other highlights of the Golden Circle, you return to the city for a few hours to rest and have dinner.
Feeling re-energized, join our evening northern lights hunting tour. We search for clear skies. We wait patiently for nature´s great display and while we do so you can enjoy complimentary hot-chocolate and local candy.

Our tour guide Matt was great, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. All the sights were amazing, in particular the waterfall and we loved the Geyser. We were given a good amount of time at each location, considering we had to travel anything from 30 to 60 minutes between each one. We also embarked on a Northern Lights tour in the evening, the weather prevented us seeing anything but we are able to do it again when able to, however we still had fun on the trip and stopped to watch an active volcano in the distance which was amazing.

This is a must when visiting Iceland such a great tour seeing some pretty iconic sights.
My favourite was the breathtaking waterfalls plus seeing where The Game of Thrones was filmed.
The buses are modern, helpful friendly driver and the tour guide was funny, knowledgeable with great English and understanding of banter.
Personally I’d hold back booking the Northern Lights part during winter months as it hardly goes ahead and you still pay for it as this is not refunded except your given the chance to use the ticket within three years which is no good to me as I’ll not be returning!
Gripe - I left a bag of gifts on the bus I realised as soon as I got off and e-mailed/rang but nobody got back to me until the next day and it was missing, not helpful at all in this matter!

This trip is a must when visiting Iceland, you get to see so much in one tour. The bus is modern, the tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and spoke excellent english.
Seeing the planes where The Lord of the Rings was actually filmed was incredible also brought a new understanding of the extremes they worked in.
The waterfalls for me were the highlight, breathtaking.
Personally I’d take food to avoid the extortionate prices at each stop/sight cafe. I don’t mind paying over but the prices were unacceptable.
Again highly recommend this tour but TIP avoid during winter months adding the Northern Lights part as it hardly goes ahead and your not given a refund just a chance to use it again within three years!

An amazing day! Our guide Ritchie was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Our driver Kristoff made us feel at ease driving in difficult conditions with the snow/ice, but felt safe at all times. The tour was well organised and had a good amount of time in each spot.

The tour guide and scenery were good. However we lost a lot of time when our bus broke down and also when we left a late couple behind and had to return to get them. As a result we arrived at our last stop after dark. Our Northern Lights trip resulted in no aurora sighting too.
