A visit to the most famous monuments in the central area of the Hungarian capital: both in Pest and in Buda, on both sides of the Danube. The main attractions of the visit are St. Stephen's Basilica, the Parliament Building and the famous Buda Castle district.
While the tour is mostly on foot, we arrive at Buda Castle by public transport. Tickets for public transport are not included in the price.
The visit lasts 3 hours normally.

We had a wonderful experience with Balazs, our guide, who took us around Budapest and explained the history of the city in great detail. He brought to life the significance of individual monuments and places in the city through tales of heroism, suffering & tragedy that left a deep impression in our minds. Overall, a great way to know and understand this beautiful city!

What an incredible walking tour on both sides of the river in Budapest!! Our tour guide (ugh can’t recall her name- blonde maybe Catherine?) was PHENOMENAL!! What knowledge, details at her fingertips and a lovely person to just converse with. Highly recommended!!!

This was a jam packed way to see the highlights and yet not feel rushed. Our guide was terrific and really insightful. If your time in Budapest is limited don't try and do it alone and book this tour. You'll be glad you did. We certainly were.
