We had an amazing time hunting with Alessandro and his assistant. The dogs were adorable and entertaining and we found over 20 black truffles ! Highly recommend- super authentic Tuscan experience- the time back at his shop for tasting was also fun and almost like another excursion. Our kids are teens and thoroughly enjoyed it too.

What an absolute joy!
Alessandro, Mocha and Freddie were the best for this experience.
Beautiful walk in a Tuscan Forrest, running after Mocha and Freddie as they were sniffing for truffles. It was really fun and special.
We were 2 families with 4 kids (ages 4-8).
Alessandro was Knowledgeable and friendly to everyone. Taught us some interesting facts about the mushrooms and gave us cooking tips.
Later we went to his shop at Porta Romana (a must see site in Siena) and tasted some of his truffle based products and drank wine.
100% recommend the experience and the person.

The truffle hunting experience with Alessandro and Moka was absolutely outstanding! We had a lot of fun and learned a lot! Alessandro was kind and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Alessandro, Freddie and Moka were amazing! This was an experience of a lifetime! It was pure excitement hunting with all of them. Alessandro's store wasn't open yet, but he took the time to open for us and give us a tasting and let us purchase some amazing truffle items to bring back home and share! The weather was wonderful and the hunt was very successful! We now have a deep appreciation for truffles because of this experience. Alessandro has alot of knowledge and made the trip not only fun, but a learning experience. This is a must do experience!

We were not able to participate in the truffle hunting experience, but plan to do so in the future. That said, if you are looking to learn about truffles or just wish to buy truffles / truffle products, this is the place! Alessandro is very knowledgeable and friendly. He has the highest quality products, good prices and is happy to let you sample products so you can choose which you like best. Highly recommended!

Such a special experience, we highly recommend! Walking through the forest was magical. Hearing their experiences and learning how and why truffles form was so interesting! And of course Moka is adorable and incredibly sweet! The tasting was delicious! We wanted one of everything!

We had a great time and found a lot of truffles! You do not get to keep the truffles, but you can buy some at a discount which we did and we made an amazing truffle pasta dish back at our villa.

Our truffle hunting experience with Alessandro and the adorable Moka was a fabulous trip from the beginning to end. Alessandro explained some of the local history around truffle hunting and how the dogs work. Although it was not the prime time for truffles, Moka was quite successful in finding us numerous truffles. She was quite entertaining throughout the process. Following the hunt, we returned for prosecco and a tasting of various truffle-infused foods at his shop by the Piazza del Campo. This excursion was one of highlights from our month-long trip to Italy!

This was an amazing unforgettable day. Alessandro and Mocha led us on a mega truffle hunt and we loved every moment of it. He picked us up at the train station with an interpreter (that was not necessary, but she was great) and led us to an estate for the hunt. Mocha found 11 truffles and then we headed to the middle of Siena for wine and truffled items from his store. I would pay for friends and family to do this anytime they visit. Siena is a beautiful village and worth staying over night. Amazing horse races and car show that day as well. BOOK IT NOW!

Truffle hunting with Alessandro and his two dogs Moka and Pepita was a highlight of my two week trip to Italy! The experience was interesting and also hands-on with an opportunity to dig for a truffle out of the ground with help from Alessandro. He was a great host, passionate about the world of truffles and very knowledgeable answering all questions about the process. The tasting afterwards was fantastic as well! Would go again
