Eszter was amazing - She spent generous time with me and my friend, explaining the Hungarian history, taking us to her favorite places, answering our questions and sharing her personal history. One of the best tour guides I've ever had.

A bit disappointing.
I was signed up for a group tour, instead it was a private tour for my wife and me with a guide.
I expected some transportation that would take us around, but we used walking and public transportation. We only visited 5 location out of the 10 that you promised.
The guide was very nice. Friendly and helpful, but she definitely was not an expert and couldn’t answer questions about what we saw.
Also, being Jewish, we ask to replace the visit inside the Basilica with an entry ticket into the the synagogue, but this was not possible for some reason.
Other than a small section of the Jewish quarter that the guide proved useful, we could have walked without her.

Had a lovely private tour with Petra. While the physical tour focused on Pest, she shared a lot of history and information about Buda which was helpful for our own exploration the next day. Petra answered any questions we had about the history of Budapest and general recommendations. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience definitely worth it:
One of the best tours we have done and so much more convenient thats it’s private. Our guide Petra was friendly and informative and kept us entertained throughout the duration of the tour. 3 hours really does fly by and the tour includes some really amazing sights including St Stephen’s Basilica and the Parliament Building.
A stop off at the strudel house was a great way to both have a break as well as eating some delicious strudel (they also have lots of other sweet/savoury dishes on their menu) A great experience and also great value for money will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Budapest

We walked all over Budapest and avoided large groups and crowds. We had not been back to Budapest in over 40 years and it was great to see all of the changes and hear about what has happened in Hungary over that time. We saw areas of town that we had never seen in addition to the main attractions. There was a lot of historical context to what we were seeing.

Petra was a really informative guide for our introduction to Budapest. We strolled along the Danube past the Chain Bridge and the Shoes on the Danube towards Parliament. She explained the complex history of Hungary. We went past the US Embassy and Liberty Square. We stopped for a strudel and coffee at the Strudel House which was delicious! We visited Saint Stephens Basilica and then went over to Dohany Street Synagogue and Szimpla Kert (we didn't go into either).
It was a very interesting and informative tour. It was nice that it was private so we could take our time. I would highly recommend this tour!
