This was the best! We had a wonderful experience with Rosa and her daughter in their home. The class was excellent and we enjoyed making homemade pasta, ravioli, tiaramisu and rosa’s rainbow! So many great techniques taught. We also enjoyed meeting others in our class!

Cooking with Rosa was such a delight! We began from scratch and created a delicious meal by hand. Rosa and Angela were so lovely and welcoming of us in their home. We learned so much about making pasta, tiramisu, and ravioli! And then enjoyed the meal in their lovely garden. This experience is most certainly a must during a trip to Venice. We will definitely be using the recipes at home!

We had a wonderful experience making dinner from scratch with Rosa and the entire group. We met new friends and learned about flour, pasta making and cooking techniques, and were gifted with recipes we will absolutely use in the future. We had never had a dish like Rosa’s vegetables and all four of us loved it, including my husband! Her hospitality and warmth is not to be missed, we highly recommend this experience.

Yesterday was the best! We signed up for a cooking class and didn’t really know what to expect. We went to the home of Rosa, a very sweet & fun woman. She is originally from Albania where she was an architect. She married an Italian man and moved to Italy, where she became a chef. Now she loves to have these classes in her home. To add to the dynamic, her only child Angela, formerly a concert violinist, now sommelier, was in town and was her assistant/translator. The two of them were a hoot together! There were 10 of us non-professional trainees that made fresh pasta for the homemade pesto ricotta ravioli. We used a pasta guitar (available on Amazon) to make fresh spaghetti & tagliatelle with fresh tomato sauce (sorry Ma, they didn’t call it gravy, lol). Rosa’s Rainbow was an amazing assortment of roasted vegetables & fruits. And to finish it off, we made homemade tiramisu. Angela picked the perfect Prosecco & red wine to accompany all the dishes and our glasses were never empty. Everything was delicious and we received all of the recipes to boot. The two families from Michigan and Mississippi were fun to meet as well. Overall, on of the best experiences I’ve ever had!

A lot of fun! We learned a lot about cooking and new tools we should be using in the kitchen. She made using simple foods into an amazing dish. She also gave us some history on the origins of the food.

Cooking with Rosa was a highlight of our trip to Venice! She welcomed us into her home and shared her secrets for making amazing Italian food. Rosa is gracious, cheerful, patient and kind. She enjoys getting to know all of her students. She told us stories of many of her former students as she pointed out their pictures hanging on her wall. We already have plans to try making her recipes at home. I highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling to Venice!
