Benoa area was a place that I always wanted to see, but was very disappointed 😞
It was very busy ,noisy, and worst of all it was so polluted with plastics.
The sea is full of plastic wrappers ,bottles and rubbish. I was very sad to see that no one who worked on this beach were concerned? Too busy getting tourists into boats for snorkeling or water sports and not caring about the beach. It is not a place I would recommend. This area is one of the dirtiest beaches I have ever seen. Too bad no one cares.
The water has a film of petrol or oil and is not appealing at all.
Just a short walk along the water are a few lovely 4 or 5 star hotels that have constant noise, and petrol in their beach areas .A real let down gor their guests.
Along the beach are little shops for drinks and snacks , but aren't very welcoming to sit at. No real atmosphere. It's a shame, that the owners are only interested in making money and not in their own property.
